by Robert Reich:

'Paul Krugman this morning says: (1) “Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee; she locked it up over a month ago with her big Mid-Atlantic wins, leaving Bernie Sanders no way to overtake her.” Wrong. Bernie could plausibly overtake her in pledged delegates if he does well enough from here on, and if Mrs. Clinton continues to drop in the polls even some superdelegates might come over to him.

Krugman also says (2) Clinton will win against Trump “unless Bernie Sanders refuses to concede and insinuates that the nomination was somehow stolen by the candidate who won more votes.” That sets up Bernie and his followers to be the problem if Clinton wins the nomination and loses to Trump. But if that occurs it won’t be due to Bernie and his followers. It will be because Hillary Clinton has failed to make the case to his followers that they should vote for her.

It’s hard enough staying reasonably sane in this nearly insane election year without influential pundits causing even more confusion and resentment.'

I've got a lot of respect for him, but his Facebook page is a Hillary hate-fest and they're mostly parroting hateful things that he's said about Hillary.

Hopefully he'll change his toon once the primaries are over.

2. I don't think you read it often enough, or with clear eyes.

There is nothing remotely resembling a hate-fest there.

It looks like a bunch of people kissing his ass by seeing who can 'Hillary hate' the most.

A lot of the same anti-Hillary stuff that I see repeated here. I'd stop following him, but I'm curious to see how he acts once he has finally accepted that Bernie has lost.

And he has said that he likes both Bernie and Hillary personally, but he's also made it clear that he prefers Bernie's politics.

I can understand folks wanting Bernie to stay in until the last possible moment, but a lot of the people commenting on Robert Reich's Facebook page clearly have no intention of voting for Hillary in November, and say it on his page regularly.

It seems like a forum ripe for conservatives to trash the democratic nominee with an audience full of independents and democrats.

As far as the hateful things he says, they may not seem hateful to Bernie supporters, it's the same stuff I see here. A lot of debunked right-wing talking points.

4. Paul Krugman is a liberal fraud.

He chose to back a dishonest, bloodthirsty, right-wing corporatist. She's a tremendously weak candidate yet he still chooses to support her. If he's looking to cast blame in the event Hillary loses, he should start with her first and then look inward.

a good job if Clinton wins. I Sanders will win and will kick DWS out on her ear.

it's not going to matter who blames whom. Krugman and Reich are getting way ahead of themselves.

I remember in 2004, when Bush beat Kerry, I bought a t shirt that read, "Sorry, World!" There was nothing else to do. Life went on.
