A week from tomorrow Hillary will be the 1st woman presumptive nominee of a major party, period.

One week from tomorrow Hillary Clinton will be the first woman presumptive nominee of a major party.
And there is nothing, not a single thing, that can be done about it by a minority who want to deny math and plain hard facts. Beliefs in non-existent conspiracy theories and wild notions of a "rigged" system will not stop the inevitable lead that she has in pledged delegates and votes.

And like a grown adult, when one loses, and loses FAIR and SQUARE, one should lose with grace and accept the verdict of the voters.

In this particular circumstance, the grace lies in moving forward to do what Bernie Sanders said he would do: "Work every day to defeat Donald Trump." Simple as that.

AMBITION...

MSNBC To the deniers... Watch THIS Video... It is not comforting to think that she may well be the Democratic Nominee...

Hillary really betrayed Andrea Mitchell... The entire context of this report was of a solemn nature... A Funeral so to speak...

Andrea Mitchell "I do not see this report as ...ANYTHING BUT... DEVASTATING!"

Chuck Todd "After this I don't think that she could get confirmed for Attorney General!"

Lots of FIBBING by Hillary here.. for more than a year!

She doesn't have enough pledged delegates to win the nomination and we don't know how many superdelegates might jump off her sinking ship like they did in 2008.

Don't count your chickens before they hatch. That's an old but relevant saying.

Hillary may presently reach the magic number counting stupor-delegates, but right now their words are tracings in sand. A lot can happen between now and the end of July: there is an incoming tide of multiple FBI investigations.

Hillary is disliked by many, and trusted by few. Anyone ASSuming that she is the nominee prior to the Convention is certainly counting chickens before they hatch. Colonel, I mean Senator, Sanders is ready to get to work!

Not a guaranteed sure thing, but a presumption that, absent a change in the situation from where it stands today, she will still have the support of sufficient super delegates to give her the nomination at the convention.

With an avatar of Hillary using her unsecured Blackberry, surely checking e-mail routed through her unsecured server, is this post brilliant sarcasm?

If so, my hat's off to you, all american girl.

If you are by chance being serious, you may want to revisit a few assumptions.

Just saying over and over that Hillary is the winner won't work. It doesn't have any effect on anyone reading DU, that's for certain. It is just recreational typing.

Can we please all agree to have a moratorium on these idiotic threads, because they are doing nothing:

1. They won't magically make Hillary become the presumptive nominee.
2. They won't convince anyone on DU to change their minds.

In short, they are a waste of bandwidth, just venting and recreational typing.
