"It is my pleasure to introduce to you the sanest man in America...Bernie Sanders!" --Dick Van Dyke

Van Dyke said something else, in his short and great intro, that resonates with me: He said he's 90 years old and has been watching the deterioration of our democratic republic over many years. He now feels hope that we can all work together, as we did in the '60s for civil rights, and change things. I feel the same way. I'm 71, and I haven't seen as much as he has, but certainly enough to give me perspective on this campaign for president, and the Sanders campaign in particular. I feel hope for the first time in a ve-e-e-e-e-e-ery long time that now is the moment to begin reversing this downward spiral of our democracy into an oligarchy, as Bernie calls it. Now is the time! Bernie is the catalyst. And WE are the answer we've been waiting for!
