I think progressives and Dems are so sort of prone to negativity. Therefore, we tend to be bad at the game of publicizing our good news. Therefore, we suck at the important game of political bravado. Just imagine if Romney was up or tied in every swing state poll released on Friday, except for one outlier poll in Florida that had difficulty polling a large segment of the electorate. Repubs would be renting their tuxedos for Inauguration Day already. I am not saying we should be cocky or prematurely think Obama's reelection is inevitable, but we need to exude more confidence rooted in empirical numbers. Yes, arithmetic is our friend.

(78 posts)sometimes the Republican delusions work in their favor. But then again they have the media to feed their delusions and we don't get that help for our side.
