It would do Christie's ambition no good to be the VP candidate of a loser or a financial disaster that a Romney administration would be guaranteed to be.

The potential financial scandals, alone, would make a Romney administration a loser. He doesn't have the Bush Crime Family practice of making evidence just disappear.

A sitting Gov. of a large population state. I can see a Gov. from a small population state like Alaska or Iowa, but New Jersey? That is a lot better job. If anything run for Senate before going for President. Also a cabinet post like Homeland Security would be good. How many sitting Vice Presidents are elected President? (4 and 1 ran against the incumbent president & he was the only two term one as well). Only one sitting VP won the presidency in this century (Bush).

Another thing Romney should remember is that you don't treat people like crap and then expect them to cuddle up to you. Christie should have been told when Ryan got the nod (especially since he was getting signals that he was the frontrunner).
