I did some taunting earlier in the year during the Mitt Romney Comedy Tour. I was glad to see he extended the tour to the US. The problem with taunting Republicans they don't understand what Romney is doing is stupid. They have no problem with him stealing pensions. They don't get why lying is wrong. It's an amazing thing to see. But, I will be taunting them starting Wed.

The way he worked with Christi should be example of how we all should work with conservatives we know.

I am not talking about the talking heads, pundits, candidates and the 1%. I am talking about the people we work with and interact with on a daily basis. These people for the most part are voting against their own interest and just don't know it.

Now, the extremists can be omitted from that standard.

should start making accounts on Free Republic and start making non-offensive (to conservatives) posts to get off of their temporary review period. That way you can mock them all you want, relatively unmoderated, on Tuesday.

I won't be taunting anyone, nor am I getting smug and cocky (O hasn't won yet). That isn't what this is about. Our country is on the line. As our President said in his stump speech yesterday, this is not a game.

Anyone considering such childish behavior should consider instead behaving like an adult with class. Don't taunt anyone, celebrate instead with your fellow Americans. Then, if you know conservatives personally, be kind to them.

Think what your President would do. And God forbid, Nate is wrong. Or we will be the ones crushed.

I'm not going to be kind to those who've been giving crap for the past few months about how Obama's going to lose, he's a socialist etc. I'm going to shove it in their faces. You're free to take the high road, of course.

...that's going to change anything? Or is it something that just makes YOU feel better?

I'm not one to shove anything in anyone's face. I try to argue/debate with dignity. I'm not always classy, mind you, and I have a deep hatred for the true right wing extremists in this country. But, yes, I AM above them. Resorting to their kind of behavior will not do this country any good at all.

Lastly, it makes me very nervous to get so cocky 4.5 days from the election. Anything can happen. We cannot start savoring the victory or planning any taunting. Get to your local OFA and make some calls. That will show them so much more when Obama wins as you will have been instrumental in making sure he did.

Or...you can just sit and plan your snark for after a win that hasn't happened yet.

Your choice.

In another day or two, all the ad buys will have been placed, all the money raised will be spent and the Republicans will have started reading the tea leaves (like Christie) and will turn on Romney to save their sorry asses and what little rep they have left. From Limbaugh to Hannity, Santorum to Bachmann and Coulter to everyone on Bullshit Mountain .......... they will crash and run.

So wait for it ........ wait for it ........... just a bit more .......

And then "Sit back and enjoy the view" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not get overconfident. If you think that in 2004 everyone was sitting around DU all gloom and doom, it didn't happen that way. What DID happen is that the days preceding the election, and even election night, people were posting pics of their champagne chilling, and patting each other on the back, and saying "haha, screw you republicans!!!" And then.. suddenly, it all fell apart in Ohio.

I refuse to get overconfident. I am confident, but it's too soon to talk of taunting, or celebrating, etc. We still have 4 days to go... almost there, then I'll be happy to share the taunts with you.

It's like a football game. The time for talking is after the game is played and not before. Show me the results. Then we'll jubilate together.

There is already a giant wedge between myself and another member of my family. I'm not going exacerbate it any further. I will gladly take victory in supporting the President and my party. Taunting the opponents isn't my goal. Winning is.

I would really enjoy reading a right wing forum where they are starting to panic. Any suggestions?
