Catastrophizing the election

After this election, which now looks to be all but a lock for our guy, I need to get a handle on myself. I realize now as I surface from the degree of anxiety and depression (now that the happy goal is in sight), I see that I have been in an altered state of consciousness for the past month or so. Not a good one. Fighting with my mate. Surly at work. Spending more time than usual in bed.

I don't want to go through this again.

As I said, I've gotta get a handle on myself!

But I've been the same way.

Even having dreams about it.
I dream I've met Obama one to one having a conversation with him.

Then I wake up and I'm like "What the heck"?

And then it happens again.

I only now am able to actually cry! I've been in too much shock.

I'm not complaining, only reporting!

Sheesh!
