Talk about bad optics!

I just saw KamaAina's post about the HRC's ill-conceived Venn diagram. Not as egregious, but equally jarring was this news from San Diego:

The Hillary Clinton campaign officially opened an organizing office in Bankers Hill Tuesday – the first in San Diego. Local Clinton supporters Assembly Member Toni Atkins and Councilmember Todd Gloria, along with...snip

Yes, that's right. The area in San Diego where she chose to locate her office is known officially as Bankers Hill.

The jokes practically write themselves. What happened to that one person on the campaign that checks the candidate for toilet paper on the shoes, spinach in the teeth, etc.?

Besides, I thought that famous battle was at BUnker Hill! (And it totally was, since I have stayed pretty darn near it!)

Looks like her Meme Team steered her wrong again. I'm tellin' ya, it's total amateur hour up in there.

Bankers Hill is near the heart of San Diego's LGBT community. Strategically speaking, it's a fantastic location to open an office for voter outreach.

Alas, no. Per Wiki: "The area acquired the name 'Bankers Hill' because of its reputation as a home for the affluent."

But that still isn't really what I would call a place for "megachurch moms". Still have to go a few dozen miles to the North for that target demo.

to paraphrase Bogie...

Of all the neighborhoods, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine.

As a previous poster noted, she is Bankers' Hill.
