Related: About this forumWhy Did Votes ‘Disappear’ in the Kentucky Primary? Possible Recount
Bernie Sanders supporters noticed votes mysteriously disappearing during the Kentucky primary on Tuesday. The Kentucky primary was so close that the delegates will be split evenly between Sanders and Hillary Clinton, with each getting 27 delegates apiece, according to AP. But Sanders is considering asking for a recount, while others are pointing out suspicious things that happened during the primary itself. Did election fraud happen during the primary or was everything merely the result of glitches and technical errors? Meanwhile, Democratic candidate Roque De La Fuente has noticed the same thing happening with his votes in different states.
Heres what you need to know.
1. Sanders Said Hes Considering a Recount in Kentucky
2. Sanders Somehow Lost 2,000 to 5,000 Votes in Kentucky During the Primary
3. Votes in Pike County Disappeared
4. Roque De La Fuente, a Democratic Presidential Candidate, Shared Screenshots as He Mysteriously Lost Votes in Other States
5. A Similar Problem Was Also Reported in Marion County, Oregon, Where Clinton Gained 11,000 Votes

Bernie needs to request a recount. It won't change the delegate count much but we need to see what's going on once and for all.

(1,947 posts)It it only the candidates? It seems like the voters should have the right to see if their vote was counted.

(8,541 posts)Regardless we would definitely get faster results if it's Bernie that requests it.
On that point. From what I've read Pike County is required by law to do a hand count because the the count was reset during the count was still going or something like that.

Unfortunately, this is the Dem establishment's show and admitting such things deserve close and careful consideration isn't likely

(5,737 posts)There aren't 4000 Democrats in Pike County, KY. Roque received less than one half of one percent in KY. Yeah, somebody stole his votes alright. What proof do you or Bernie have of any stolen votes in KY? Let's see that proof.

(885 posts)A candidate has a right to ask for a recount, especially in close races. Sometimes recounts come from court orders. It's been common practice in Democracy since it's inception.
Since you claim the Democratic vote totals in the county should be low, it shouldn't take long to recount it even if by hand. Even if it shows the original count was exactly right it's still worth recounting a questionable county to prove that Democracy is working correctly in an un-corrupted manner.
We should do automatic mandatory random recounts in parts of every state after every election. Assuring the accuracy of the vote is a core part of Democracy and money well spent, IMO. This has nothing to do with any particular candidate.

(11,990 posts)No one will care about whether or not she actually won KY at that point.
And any delegate shift would be minimal.

(9,314 posts)As early-morning vote tallies roll in, results of Oregon's Democratic presidential primary paint a sobering picture for national Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton -- she won just one Oregon county, and won it by just one vote.
The tally from Gilliam County: Bernie Sanders 100, Clinton 101.

(5,648 posts)....after a while when they are not successful time and time again in pushing their ultra pure ideology, their lack of success leads them to believe that everyone is against them. After all it couldn't be their fault that they keep losing.
