2. What I fear is people will get complacent and not vote. There have been times I have not been real

happy with Obama but the alternative would be disaster. If anything, it is much more imperative to get people out to vote this election than it was last election. Not just at the presidential level but at the Congressional level as well. A few more Teabags in Congress and this entire country will go to hell in a teabag. No one will have a job. There won't even be an economy if they have their way.

and dearly hope/pray that we can maintain momentum enough to win back the House and increase Dem numbers in the Senate.

5. This is why I don't pay attention to corporate cable news

I turned to MSNBC, just to see which clown won what state. I caught Tweety saying Mittens is subtlety portraying himself as the all American candidate, with a subtle racial under tone. I could've sworn he said the same exact statement about McCain/Palin in 08. Its pathetic how much tweety and his ilk underestimate President Obama. I guess they have to create drama and sell a close election propaganda for ratings.

Nobody is paying attention to what is going on right now. I have talked to literally dozens of conservatives who vote regularly who have not watched a single debate and can't even tell me all of the candidates running for president.

Mitt Romney looks good on TV and can sound reasonable and educated. He will says what he has yo to win votes whether or not he believes what he is saying. Obama will probably win but he's going to have to hard to get it.

Mittens LOOKS the part.

The R party is such disarray, the "liberal" media has been allowed to actually show them for the morons they are during the primary. But, make no mistake, once is it Mittens v BO, the media will absolutely be bullied back into its dutiful role - negatively frame the D at all times and mitigate whatever stupid A crape the R says or does.

I like BO's chances, but people are just deluding themselves to think that the current electoral map can be a blowout. The Rs opened up a can of worms they should not have with starting up on women, and it will help a lot, but again, Rs have districts to well developed at this point, they have an edge in the House even in a down year.

This all assumes a continued slow recovery and no major terrorism on american soil.

AS IS, they are going to be able to make hay on gas prices, and if something happens with terrorism, they WILL pile on and use it to their advantage.

7. What we have to remember is that republicans are sheep

And despite all the talk of widespread unhappiness with Romney among the "base", most of them will fall in line behind him when they are told to by the party bigwigs. There won't be any third party challenge, the "tea party" has served its purpose and no longer really exists.

So we can expect politics as usual once Romney wraps it up - Obama vs. the best candidate the Koch brothers can buy.

And, while a true characture as a person, Mittens is not McCain senile/stupid.

He didn't have nearly as many gaffes in '08, and he's not as notorious for being a flaming liar.

I wouldn't get too comfortable either way...Romney has financial resources to match Obama's and the economy, while better, will still be fragile.

dreading dealing with all the repug b.s., AND fully aware we REALLY must take back the House, and gain more elbow-room in the Senate.

And the campaign against him hasn't even started yet. The Republican candidates have been really easy on Mittens opinion. So although I think its possible it can be a close election when you consider the Citizens United ruling. I think the potential for it to get worst for Mittens is clearly there.

His saber rattling about how Obama was going to lose PA and the "hard working, regular white people" vote was over the top. He is very annoying at times and thinks he's right about everything. He is not.

What we need to do is stay focused on getting people registered with the proper tools and armed with knowledge so that they can get out and vote.

I've often noted how unreliable he is, don't watch his show. Only saw this as an extension of MSNBC's SuperTuesday coverage.

Tools, knowledge, and WILL, we MUST do it.
