So now that Clinton has claimed the nomination, what is her strategy?

Will she decline the CA debate and simply move forward completely ignoring Sanders? Focus all of her energy on the GE and not worry about the remaining primaries?

...why is there some need to defend her primary win to Sanders? He's clearly lost.

if it is that important to him. He is going to have to come to an agreement with Hillary before the convention anyway - now is a good time to start the conversation.

Here, let me try.

LONGSHIP CLAIMS THE US PRESIDENCY!!!!

See. It doesn't work that way. Nor does bloodline or marriage work.

Read the US Constitution. No bloodlines or marriages there as justification for office.

She may have the votes for the nomination, but she doesn't have the hearts of the nation. That's a very real problem. Her hubris is too off putting.

There are no turns in presidential politics!

The only metaphor I can think of is neuter. He will end the campaign sackless....

Every bully eventually meets his master...

I remember when my hero, Muhammad Ali, was about to leave for Zaire to begin his preparations to fight George Foreman he sought the advice of Cus D'Amato who was one of the most renowned trainers in boxing. D'Amato told him Foreman was a bully and to take the fight to him. That's what Ali did and Foreman caved.

Trump is a bully, a slug, and a thug.

NO. TRUMP.FOR.YOU. DAWGS.

Let his campaign go down in flames and Feel the Bern!

It's pointless. He's lost and we've all heard his talking points with no tenable plan for follow through a zillion times...what's one more debate going to change?
Maybe he'll whine more about Democrats and how they supposedly cheated him instead of pointing to the ignorance of his voters who sunk their own ship by not understanding the election rules.

As for Trump. I hope it's to let him continue trying to walk back building the wall, and try embrace Hispanics and AAs. Let him speak and use his words "the best words". He's so dull and slow people will get tired of the salesmen routine pretty quickly. Even at his own rallies people fall asleep and he wakes them up by shouting "we're gonna build a wall!"

We have to focus on the GE and not this nonsense with Bernie's Bernt out, Bernt to a crisp campaign. Put it to sleep before it bites someone!

I would love it if he continues his attacks ... she goes to the Cali Debates, and uses it as a 90 anti-gop commercial, virtually ignoring Bernie.

For example:

Question on the Economy

Bernie's Answer: "I believe {Insert stump speech points here} and {attack on HRC here}

HRC's Answer:

"I believe {insert stump speech points here} and I believe it's important that I distinguish my positions from those of the gop presumptive nominee ..."

It would drive the media (and most of DU) nutz, as their interest is in encouraging a continued Democratic fight.
