DNC IS worried about Hillary, so Bash Bernie and replace with Biden?

I couldn't figure out what the plan is here, why bash Bernie and his supporters if you need them to vote for you?

Then I read that Biden is having a fundraiser for DWS? Who would do that? She the most hated Democrat right now.

It's starting to look like Hillary will crash and burn from her illegal dealings before the convention, and of course they can't let Bernie get in there.

They are also very afraid of civil disobedience at the Democratic convention, so they are making shit up about Bernie supporters being violent so they will have an excuse to crack down on protesters, put them in free speech cages.

I think the plan is to attempt to disqualify Bernie with lies about his supporters and how he can't stop them from violence or some such bullshit....

then sneak in Joe Biden, a much more acceptable candidate for the 1%.

Am I crazy, or might this be their Plan B?

If Hillary gets zapped - and Bernie is not the nominee - there will be a bigger revolt. That's just not right. Bernie has campaigned all over this country for this nomination. He didn't drop out. He has a huge following and if the Dems don't let him get that nomination and pass it off to Biden or O'Malley - there will be hell to pay.

And also it will really cement the fact that this whole thing is rigged - just like Bernie said.

We will have a Trump presidency and the Dem Party will lose a great portion of their base.

Thu May 19, 2016, 03:37 PM

They don't count? They're chopped liver? That's what I'm talking about. If the Dems go to an open first ballot and replace Hillary with a Biden or O'Malley - then all their worst fears will be realized. Their vote doesn't count. The system is rigged.

And if that happens you will see the biggest exodus ever from the Dem Party. They'll declare as an Independent and 2020 we'll have a Third Party that will be stronger than the other two combined. There are certainly enough Repugs that can't vote for Trump and will sit 2016 out as well.

If anything - this primary season has shown that WE THE PEOPLE are fed up with establishment politics.

Whether either Party wants to admit it - the "Political Revolution" has started and can only pick up steam as we move into the future.

It still doesn't negate the fact that the will of the voter is no longer being represented if Clinton isn't there.

"the "Political Revolution" has started and can only pick up steam as we move into the future."

We are quickly finding out the people in the revolution don't like the people in the revolution. You think being a democrat is like herding cats? Have fun trying to get the revolution to stick together. I say that as someone who thinks every elected democrat should have income equality as one of their top concerns.

Not so this year if it's Hillary. Enough Third Way crap. I'm done.

That said, yes, most "Democrats" will vote for Hillary, but there simply isn't enough of them to overcome the Independents. Dems are 29 percent of the voting electorate. About 70 to 80 percent of that 29 percent will vote for Hillary. But the 20-30 percent of the BoBs who'll write in Bernie or go Green, coupled with the Independents who can't stand Hillary is where your problem lies.

And, I don't see how she overcomes that problem.

If HRC releases her delegates, it may or may not be accompanied by a directive from her. What the pledged delegates actually do under the current rules, I believe, is actually up to each delegate. I believe the supers are at all times free to vote as they wish.

The rules committee could change things up, and basically impose a replacement for HRC, but I think that's unlikely. I'm sure that someone has already figured out the mechanics of how the transition would take place as amicably and smoothly as possible.

I think this whole manufactured outrage over the non existent violence is to bar us (Bernie people) from the convention. So IF they have to to either anoint Hillary or install Biden, that we lowly peons won't be there showing out TRUE outrage over this shit. I am tweeting, writing, FBing - all of the above - to the Sanders campaign about this situation. I am sure that they are aware but I'm wondering what their plans are WHEN this all goes down. Will Bernie just cave and say good things about Hillary to keep the peace? Or will he let it be known that his supporters are being falsely accused of events that never happened and we are (or will be) silenced by them making it look like everything is smooth and hunky dorey. I hope that it is the second.

We will be heard, one way or another. Whether it's at the convention or at the polls. The end result is on the Democratic leadership. They want to make it appear as if we are all unified and things are smooth. Nothing can be further from the truth.

that will do whatever it takes to prevent the "horror" of a Sanders nomination, it's the whole corporate-state power structure. The system as it is will fight tooth and nail to protect itself and that means preventing the American people from believing that they could ever have a president that listens to them. It was supposed to have been an impossibility for a candidate such as Bernie Sanders to get as far as Bernie as gotten. The reason their strategies for getting rid of him are so overt and unhinged is because they never foresaw the popularity of a non-corporate candidate reaching the level that Bernie's popularity has reached and it scares the hell out of them. It's way beyond the point where they can maintain subtlety. I predict that the media will begin to talk non-stop about the lying, cheating, and all the rest of it as soon as Clinton gains the nomination (if she does - or Biden or whoever as long as it's not Bernie). The chicanery that is going on is too good not to use to amass those profitable eyeballs but corporate self-interest dictates that they will wait until Bernie's out to go after Hillary. The whole system we live under is rotten to the core.
