2. Its official, Mitt Romney will definitely be the nominee.

There is no path for Santorum at this point. MSNBC reported that even Sarah Palin voted for Newt today, Meaning: the queen of the Tea Party is splitting the vote for Romney as well.

4. That would have been the case even if Santorum had won Ohio by the margin Romney did.

But this result allows the Clown Car to role forward, it likely gives Santorum a bit of new momentum going into the Deep South primaries soon, where Santorum will win some more and garner more momentum.

Santorum could theoretically make up the delegates but that would require him wining states he is you know not going to win, like New York.
