There is proof that the death threats against R. Lange were made by Sander's supporters

The meme that they were Brocks plants? DEBUNKED!

----------------

Democrats have been in a froth this week in the aftermath of Saturday's contentious, and at times violent, Nevada state convention. As Rolling Stone reported Tuesday, Bernie Sanders supporters, incensed by the party's handling of the proceedings — and the fact that Sanders failed to hold on to two pledged delegates he unexpectedly gained at the Clark County convention — clashed with Clinton supporters, who in turn called for the Sanders supporters' arrest.

Pissed off Sanders supporters, watching the events unfold online from around the country, began circulating the personal contact information for state party chair Roberta Lange. As a result, Lange became the target of a barrage of harassment, including death threats and threats of violence sent via voicemail and text message. On Monday, the party shared many of those messages — notably, and perhaps regrettably, without redacting some of the senders' phone numbers.

Rolling Stone spoke to several of the men who sent Lange angry, menacing text messages to find out what was going through their heads as they pelted a stranger with epithets and threats, both veiled or explicit, to her and her family's safety, and to find out if — as some diehard Sanders supporters have suggested — they were actually Clinton campaign operatives out to smear Bernie.

They were not. All of the men we spoke to were genuine Sanders supporters, most with well-documented histories online of feeling the Bern. (Although only their first names are used below and their phone numbers have been redacted, we verified all of their identities.)

None of them were present at the convention; none of them even live in Nevada. They watched from their homes in Texas, Georgia and Utah, and felt the brazen theft they witnessed validated their actions. All of the men we spoke to reject the idea that their words could be interpreted as threats or harassment. And all of them were concerned about the media contorting their words. So, in their words — edited only for length and clarity — here is what they had to say for themselve

British commandos arrested in civilian clothes after shooting dead an Iraqi policeman who'd approached their car, which, for some reason, was filled with bomb-making gear. Rather than explaining it to a judge, the British sent in tanks to bust them out of jail.

From the Rolling Stone article, two clicks away from the OP's observation:

None of them were present at the convention; none of them even live in Nevada. They watched from their homes in Texas, Georgia and Utah, and felt the brazen theft they witnessed validated their actions. All of the men we spoke to reject the idea that their words could be interpreted as threats or harassment. And all of them were concerned about the media contorting their words. You know for a fact they work for Bernie how?

The op made no absolute statement about false flag operations. They addressed the issue at hand. You went off into wild speculation.

I would be embarrassed as hell and want to define Sanders supporters as false flag operators as well. I get your need to do so.

While now it's used to smear, "False Flag" used to be a respectable term.

What you did does completely take away from the validity that governments and citizens do run false flag operations.

If you had respect for the term you wouldn't have just put it over you knee and beat it with a belt.

I've yet to see them own or denounce any of the viciousness that has been going on for MONTHS.

It is an Independent movement based in individualism and isolationism. For the most part they don't even agree with Sanders ideology. It's based in anger. The false flag conspiracy is the next step. They are now starting to eat themselves.

All of the men we spoke to were genuine Sanders supporters, most with well-documented histories online of feeling the Bern.

1. Online histories do not guarantee they are Bernie Supporters. Political operatives and people that get off on disrupting aren't stupid. Especially after early on it was pointed out in researching posters that there wasn't even any online evidence they were Bernie supporters.
2. A pretty strong statement: All were deemed genuine Sanders supporters based on what?

The article is slanted calling the Supporters trolls and refusing to address the underlying actions that led to the chaos leading me to question the validity "all were deemed genuine." The article doesn't appear at all objective or even handed.

Did some Bernie supporters get swept up into the moment? Probably. Political operatives are good at that. But does this article convince readers that the few people noted were genuine Bernie Supporters or that other paid political operatives were not involved? Not this reader.

I did not see it from the beginning, not sure if it was the broadcaster himself that initially started it. Someone there did, as the phone # was repeated many many times so they made sure everyone got it, along with colorful suggestions on what to say to her.
