O'Reilly: "Grievance Against Whites" In "Some African-American Communities" May Affect Obama's

Attitude Toward Americans

DENNIS MILLER (comedian and Fox News contributor): And I look at Barack Obama and I think, you know, I don't sense he likes half this country. And I think that's coming back to bite him in the tuchus.

BILL O'REILLY (host): You mean the guns, religion crew, that that was an indicator?

MILLER: Yeah, just all that disparagement. Joe the Plumber doesn't make [unintelligible], he doesn't have a pickup truck. There seems to be a real disassociation between him and the hoi polloi, is the classic term.

O'REILLY: Do you think it has anything to do with grievance? Because in some African-American communities, there is a grievance against whites who aren't sympathetic to their cause. And that may be driving a little bit of it.

So, there are some African-Americans who believe that the reason they're not prospering as a community, all right, is because society hasn't done enough, and the reason that society hasn't done enough is because of rich white guys.

MILLER: No, I don't think of it like that with Obama. I think of him as one of those intelligentsia swells who looks down on people that he thinks aren't up to speed intellectually with him. So I don't get a color thing off him.

It's Romney who comes off as wanting to be anywhere else but dealing with the "peasants."

As for intelligentsia swells, your whole act has been that. Set-up, explanation, tenuous comparison to some historical event by making slight changes to it.

Miller thought himself a "comedian" when he had very good writers on SNL.Those writers have abaondoned him, seeing that he's a hateful pissy prig with a rightward tilt, and/or a sociopath.

Faux hires his "writers" now, and he tries to muster up the delivery he once had, but -- recall when Faux Noise tried a "comedy" show, and how hard it failed, after just a couple of weeks. Cons can't do comedy, only rancid hatred. They don't understand that comedy exists to produce a laugh, from someone other than a fat repig who signs their checks.

"Now I don't want to go off on a rant here, but..." that was one of his signature lines on SNL and his short-lived HBO show, in which he was a recurrent asshole, making no sense, but spewing hate at those who had initially given him a voice.

As for the racism, that's kind of a given in conservative circles, always has been, and when they talk about Democratic racism, they're going back to the old days before Johnson weilded the civil rghts act of 1964. Yes, MLK was a republican, but the democrats of his day were the repigs of today.

Always more illustrative to frame it as cons vs liberals, and they switched sides and parties about 50 years ago. So, Lincoln was a republican, George Wallace was a democrat--BACK THEN.

Don't be fooled by the idiotic spin.

Democrats as liberal, in at least an economic sense, came into being with FDR. LBJ pushed through the Civil Rights

Act, but JFK was also positively involved with Civil Rights as was Eisenhower, who ordered troops into

Alabama, Mississippi during the de-segregation of schools in the South.

He thought his buddy was going to back his racist tripe, but even Dennis Miller was smart enough to distance himself from it (preferring, apparently, the more subtle 'uppity' angle).
