Vice President Joe Biden on Wednesday said that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) should be more forceful in urging his supporters to tamp down their verbal attacks on party officials. Some of Sanders voters sent vicious emails and left threatening voicemails with Democratic officials in Nevada over the last few days.
Thats not Bernie, Biden told reporters in Columbus, Ohio. And what Bernies going to have to do if that happens again hes going to have to be more aggressive in speaking out about it.

But Bernie "should be more aggressive" sounds like the same lovable, squishy "I pride myself for getting along with everyone" behavior that made it so easy for the ruthless GOP to roll him and put Clarence Thomas on SCOTUS.
He's probably what that situation needs about now, so good, but I actually really like Biden leading a blitzkrieg on cancer.

(11,366 posts)It's stupid and certainly not polite, but it's not against the law.
Telling someone you wish they were dead in some fashion is bad and I don't condone it, but it's not the same thing as telling them you are going to kill them. One is uncouth and the other is against the law.
The fact is that there were no physical attacks by Bernie supporters. In fact, the only physical attack that has occurred is by a Hillary supporter on a Bernie supporter.

Bernie backers reality check Nevada violence: Video proves we only lifted a chair in frustration
http://www.rawstory.com/2016/05/bernie-backers-reality-check-nevada-violence-video-proves-we-only-lifted-a-chair-in-frustration/comments/
In a Reality Check post on Sanders official Reddit site, a supporter from California explained that the Nevada Democratic Party had lied about this.
[T]he fact is that the incident is on video, and it is crystal clear that 1.) no one threw a chair; a man lifted a chair up and was hugged by other Berners; and 2.) they lied about this, the author of the post said.
Some irrelevant man lifts a chair in frustration and the media calls on Bernie to stop preaching violence, another supporter added. Its insane the lengths the establishment will go to stop democracy.
Okay, but it was pretty fucking stupid of him to lift the chair, one supporter from Minnesota charged. Nothing good comes from a dude waving a damn chair in the air. Dont give them a reason because they will exploit it.
Raw Story could not confirm that any other chairs were thrown at the Nevada Convention on Saturday.
Note that even RAWstory continues the meme that there was a chair thrown, when it was clear that the chair was lifted and put down.
This projecting of violence onto Senator Sanders is wrong

(25,026 posts)Caustically as he can muster apologize for "the violence" utilizing air quotes.
Call for the arrests of the death threat nut jobs whether they be gas lighting Clinton supporters, Republican plants, or disturbed supporters of his hoping they get both the corrections and care they clearly need.
Wonder where the concern is for actual violence like his campaign office being shot up or an actual assault.
Hammer away at the message.

(443 posts)The plan the DNC is using to plan for Clinton dropping out and the DNC handing it to Biden. If that happens as I am thinking it will play out him adding fuel to the DNC fire is going to seem self serving jerk shit when he tries to steal the nomination.
*Just so and HRC pawns I am just guessing so don't bother asking for proof as I have been asked in other threads for proof about some future prediction.
