Do not trust Christie's praise of President Obama. It's a set up.

The mess that Sandy created can not be fixed by election day. There are going to be millions of people in NJ without power this weekend. Gov. Christie praised President Obama but the Gov is going to be looking to blame someone as the situation continues to deteriorate or, at best, not improve.

Guess what the MEME is going to be? My thought, "I showed the President the situation, but things are not happening fast enough. Where is FEMA, the National Guard, where are the resources we need, why do we still not have power...etc...?"

He is a REPUBLICAN, he wants Mitt Romney to be president.

BEWARE.

But he is generally concerned about the citizens of NJ and he was glad to have the President's attention.

I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.

If you want to question someone's decisions, how about Bloomberg letting the Marathon go on and go through Staten Island.

That is the decision that should be questioned at this point.

Doncha think Chris Christie might want to run for President...in four, not eight, years? Hmmm? Maybe?

The best way to be able to do that is to leave the incumbent in place.

No Republican wants anyone but THEMSELVES to be President.

Until someone sees first hand on street level they can not imagine how bad these storms can be. It sure isn't an event one has for a few hours then gets up and goes back home without any problems. My heart goes out to everyone affected by Sandy.

I hope Christie's heart has softened through this ordeal. Again Romney has been shown to be the uncaring person he is.

Trust, this is the opening steps in the long game for Crisco. It started with him apologizing weeks ago for calling a veteran an idiot in public. This is part of image rehab for Crisco to be seen as more than a bully.

NJ (my state) is a blue state AND he needs to have the Dems voting for him again or he will make his run for the next term more difficult. He's been running low-key ads to plant the idea that he's "good" for the state since this summer. I've even seen the commercials running around Philly so he's casting a fairly wide net.

He's already had his spanking by going out hard against Obama only to have his own plans fail even harder (his take on unemployment (still high) & his implementation of his own version of foreclosure program). Not to mention his horrible attacks on unions (his petty vendettas) and endorsement of failed (failing? of the) Xanadu money pit project....etc.

Look at the long picture...hitching himself to Romney is not going to get him moving in the direction he wants. He knows it.
