to get an emotional rise from Bernie supporters. She knew the cameras were rolling and such outbursts would be posted online.......from the footage I have seen, many people seemed to all have water bottles with them.......why didn't we see any items being thrown at BB if she so feared for her safety? (I mean, if they were throwing chairs around, ...) why didn't we see at least one or two water botltles or fruit being throw at BB? Was it because the so called threat didn't exist?

Biden/Warren 2016. Why else would DNC be spending so much time making crap up to make Sanders look bad. There really is such a small chance that Sanders can get votes. The DNC just does not want someone that would not cater to the %1 be POTUS. And with Clinton going to have to drop out soon they need a replacement in line. So step one is make Sanders look bad with all the lies and ratfuckerey they are doing this week. Step two is Hillary dropping out due to medical reasons a day before the convention. Then Biden will be begged to take her place. And they will give the worthless VP slot to Warren.

Dear Senator Boxer,

I already eft you a phone message telling you what I think of your behavior this past Saturday and the fact that you are still smearing Bernie and his supporters. But in case that doesn't mean anything to you, here is what others are saying (since they too saw the videos and LACK of violence that you have consistently lied about):

From Democratic Underground:
"Barbara Boxer: There were angry proles standing only 6 feet away from me, swearing at me

For some reason, they didn't like the fact that I was taunting them. Nor did they appreciate that the convention rules were being arbitrarily changed on the spot, right in front of their faces, so as to snuff them out.

Just how did these peons manage to invade my personal, senatorial space in the first place? And even though none of the people yelling at me actually threatened me in any way, why weren't there more security personnel there to crack their skulls? I am a "progressive", you know.

I just can't figure it out; what was their problem, anyway?"

"Dear Barbara, if you don't want people to be angry with you then don't insult them."

"She was only there to help her elite pal in California, shame on Barbara Boxer, what a way to ruin her reputation."

"Once, she was a liberal icon, and fighter. Now, she's become an entitled princess, even going so far as to smear Bernie supporters so as to boost her candidate. "

And these comments are just a small fraction of what people are saying - Democrats, Senator. Not Republicans. These are YOUR people! Your behavior was so UN states(wo)man-like that I was shocked that it was you. You could have diffused the situation. You could have empathised with the angry people and gotten them to listen to you. Instead you acted like a 12 year old who couldn't handle a little booing. And I saw all of the videos, Senator. You were NEVER in harm's way. If you think that you were, you live a VERY sheltered life and should come hang out with me in central San Jose. There are ACTUAL violent people in my area. :/

I am glad you are retiring though. It sounds like you need it.
Sincerely,
dana_b

My phone call was similar but just my thoughts. I NEVER swear at politicians though or go beyond. What is the point? They can just ignore you anyway and if you swear, they definitely WILL ignore you.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-05-15/barbara-boxer-meltdown-exposes-deep-divisions-democratic-party

"Let's hear it for Hillary Clinton," exclaimed Sen. Barbara Boxer, losing her cool after Bernie Sanders' supporters "bullied" her at the Nevada Democratic convention on Saturday. As BizPacreview reports, Boxer took the Las Vegas stage to raucous boos as her attempt to unify what is obviously as deeply divided a Democratic party as the mainstream would have everyone believe the Republican party is. "I'm for Hillary Clinton and she's for all of us,” she yelled. "Keep on booing and boo yourselves out of this election."

“I grew up in Brooklyn. I’m not afraid of bullies,” The California senator continued...

“We need civility in the Democratic Party. Civility."

The supporters of the Vermont socialist were still angered that their charge had lost the Nevada caucus and were having none of it.

She then tried reverse psychology on the angry crowd.

"When you boo me you’re booing Bernie Sanders. Go ahead. Bernie is my friend. You want to boo Bernie, boo me. Go on, you’re booing Bernie. You’re booing Bernie,” she said.

As the boos rained down on Boxer, her tone became more acrimonious as she began to reprimand the malcontents.
