Does anyone think this would be feasible? I ordered a pack of 25 American Flag bandanas (you will want a bandana to filter the tear gas), and plan on wearing all black. Thousands of people dressed as such would help send a powerful graphic image in my opinion. Thoughts?

If not, things to bring when you intend to demonstrate peacefully, but may face police brutality anyway have been all over the internet for years. Bandana and goggles are Demonstrating 101.

(16,327 posts)We were trained on how to protect ourselves against tear gas. Since we were engaged in non-violent civil disobedience, we knew there was the possibility the police might respond to us with tear gas. We never had to use our training, but it was good to be prepared.

Idea for the convention protest, form a ring around the convention center, getting in the way of incoming and outgoing traffic, ignoring areas with high fences and what have you. This should start once the delegates have arrived, or while they are arriving, making it especially difficult for super delegates to enter. Also, it might be an idea to eat at restaurants in the immediate area so as to inconvenience said super delegates even more. Lastly, everyone that is planning on attending should make sure be to way over prepared, plenty of water, food, and other supplies. Even if you don't think you will need it, somebody else might.

When can we look forward to an apology for your inflammatory, false headline and an edit, or do you plan to just keep posting still more stuff that does not support it?
BTW, have you noticed Reply 8?
