So Is the Media Back on Their "Romney Is Surgering" Theme?

We got about a 3 day break from it. The only thing that would stop the strange media obsession with Romney winning the election was a massive, freak storm, it would appear. I am getting the impression, once again, that the media is pushing the narrative that Romney has "Romentum" (ugh) and that this is his race to lose.

What I find strange is that a week or two ago, they could cherry pick polls, like Gallup and wave them around. It was at least a thinly veiled attempt to look objective. But what are they basing this on now? There is zero evidence that Romney has movement in his direction. His poll numbers look terrible. He looks like he is going to come up at least 50-60 electoral votes short and that he has no shot at winning any swing states, with the exception of North Carolina and Florida. Are they even making the most basic attempt to justify their analysis or have they just said "fuck it" and are hoping that most people won't notice that they are flat out lying now?

They knew Romney was never going to win. It was all smoke to make people watch and get ad money. This thing was never a race. Just get and vote and it's all good.

Maybe that is more of the impression that I am getting from a few people here and not something that is actually going on. I am very jittery today, and I am not sure why. Maybe its the weather. It was kind of bleak and cold today. Perhaps a drink and a good night sleep will get rid of the anxiety

morning Jerk was on suicide watch and Joe wasnt even there. Halpern was whining about Sandy killing Romneds momentum, forget about all those poor people killed in the storm.

And rightfully so.
Have not heard any Romentum stories today. More pundits realizing that Obama has the lead in the swing states.

But they are crediting the storm and ignoring the fact Obama was winning before the storm
