Remember the 7/11 Presidential Race Cup promotion from early October?

It's been a month since this was in the news, so I was curious as to their current tally

National: Obama 59%, Romney 41%

Here in North Carolina: Obama 52%, Romney 48%

My local race here in Charlotte, NC: Obama 57%, Romney 43%

You can check your local tally to date at their website here: http://www.7-eleven.com/7-Election/

This 7/11 presidential race cup promotion has correctly predicted the last 3 presidential elections.

Obama 59% to Romney 41%. Substantial difference, so it may be possible. Won't know until Nov. 6th, at the earliest.

Since not all states are even represented, you probably can't look at it state by state. Also, it should tighten. Apparently it's been pretty close percentage wise, too, in the few elections it's been around. I'll be very interested to see how it does this time.

even down to your local township...provided you live in a state that has 7/11 stores. It's actually somewhat interesting.

And crushing in Missouri. I don't think this is all that accurate.

He's even ahead of Romney by 10% in conservative Colorado Springs.

I hope the coffee cup predictor is accurate for Colorado, at least.
