(24,979 posts)Like when 100,000 people show up to protest a war and instead of reporting that, or actually speaking with organizers or showing the speakers, the media instead shows pictures either of a) isolated, strange-looking hippies or b) someone angry or violent.
In this case they didn't have pictures of any violence so they sheer made it up. Maddow used WWE footage and spoke of chairs thrown, in the plural.

(8,812 posts)That was shut down nonviolently, but you'd never have known it from the news stories, which were inevitably accompanied by photos of black bloc types shattering store windows.

(46,740 posts)that any sane person would do in the face of contemptible cronyism, Hillary supporters are trying to deflect attention from the unfairness of the process by pointing out to their behavior.

Basically This is an attempt to swiftboat Bernies supporters to keep them out of the convention
One of the guests is DNC (and a Bernie Supporter) and she told the story of her father, also there, and a CLinton Supporter and a former SUper Delegate - tore up his ballot and left because of the Crap that the Nevada Chair and Party was pulling
BOth guests said the convention was rigged

(13,426 posts)I read that somewhere, possibly in that Wonkette piece; but I would like some additional verification. If true, that certainly throws a monkey wrench into this mess.
