It’s Our Responsibility to Get Alan Grayson Back to Congress

The Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) is one of the largest progressive organizations in the country. PDA’s National Director, Tim Carpenter, was in Orlando this week, helping the Grayson for Congress campaign. Carpenter recorded this special video message for you:

“Hi. This is Tim Carpenter, with Progressive Democrats of America. I'm out here in Orlando campaigning with Alan Grayson. I've had a great day. I've been knocking on doors with his canvassers before they went out, and tonight I'm at [former Representative] Pat Schroeder's house, celebrating.

“We've got a week to go here, and the polls look good, but it's far from over. So I'm here doing what I can, and I hope you'll do what you can -- whether it be picking up the phone to make phone calls from your living room, or to make that last ten, fifteen, twenty-five dollar contribution to make sure that we get Alan Grayson through the finish line.

“There are very few champions for our issues, whether it be healthcare, or ending the occupation in Afghanistan, [etc.]. He stood with us once before, and it was the Koch Brothers [who] came in and took him away from us. Now it's our responsibility to get him back to Congress.


“So again, I hope you'll join us, Progressive Democrats of America, [and support] our endorsed candidate Alan Grayson, not only to send [him] to Congress, but to begin to be that voice to build that movement -- inside and outside Congress. He'll bring about an end to the occupation in Afghanistan, and get us on the road to enhanced Medicare for all.”
