And has been from the start. This was hers to lose. And she almost did.

She is much further ahead than Obama was in 2008 and his win wasn't in any doubt. Just because the numbers look close, doesn't actually make them close. There hasn't been any viable path for Sanders to catch up for more than 2 months now.

Clinton won the liberal population centers of Louisville and Lexington, whereas Sanders won some rural outposts that Clinton won BEFORE she was in Obama's cabinet. Do the math.

No, not hard to believe.

People want what Bernie is trying to deliver. Given the chance to vote fair and square, and with information about the candidates well known, Bernie nearly always wins the most votes.

shenanigans of the Dem party for his win.

First Dem debate 7 weeks after the Repubs and after New Yorker's had a chance to register as a Dem? Etc, etc ...

We have to stop blaming 'the other gals/guys' and look at our weakness and why we lose battles. The health care fight under Obama is a prime and recent example of how we lose when there was no real discussion of the issue, it was all about protecting the for profit HC industry.

We need to look in the mirror.

He's been getting a lot of voters who just simply hate Obama. Overlay Sanders counties in KY with those that voted uncommitted in 2012's Dem primary.

to whom these "Reagan Democrats" will give their GE votes. Last night was just a second chance to vote against HRC NOW.

IMO the main reason there still are so many registered Democrats in KY and WV is that there aren't enough African-Americans in those states to dominate Democratic parties and drive whites into "Southern Strategy" Republican ranks.
