You could say that it all depends on how you define lie. Or, perhaps, that its hell to have a public record. Either way, Hillary Clintons vast résumé of, shall we say, inconsistencies, is the dog that caught the car and wont let go. A viral video collection of her comments on various subjects through the years is bestirring Republican hearts.
To those whod rather vote for a reality show host than a Clinton, the video merely confirms what theyve believed all along. For independents and even Democrats, its a reminder...

I recall when it had only a million views -- now nearly 7 million and counting
I think Keith Olbermann asked a straightforward question:
"At what point does repeated misspeaking become lying?"

(24,010 posts)It doesn't tell me anything I didn't know about Clinton, that she often changes positions on important issues to suit her audience or how the political wind is blowing at the time, or she outright lies about stuff, like the Bosnian "sniper fire," but it's interesting to see how far back it goes. Actually, I didn't know that she crucified President Obama in their 2008 primary race because she supported universal health care THEN and he didn't. That's hilarious! Now she derides Sanders for supporting universal health care, a position she held in 2008, but doesn't hold now, apparently due to her health care profiteer donors.
Well, maybe hilarious isn't the word. Poor children dying because of no medical care, or anybody dying because of it, is not funny. Maybe it's funny how David Brock issues "talking points" to all his bots to identify universal health care as among the goodies that President Sanders would give to greedy poor people, i.e., "unicorns and ponies"--cuz, you know, kids like unicorns and ponies, and maybe those fantasy objects will get them better. No, that's not funny either. Nor hilarious. It's just Hillary.
