Who was the toughest candidate that Hillary has beaten?

She was beaten in 2008 by a relatively unknown black first term Senator with the middle name "Hussein", who up to that point had only given a speech at the previous convention.

Now in 2016 she's struggling to put away an old self identified Democratic Socialist from a tiny northeastern state, even though she has all the might and resources of the DNC, Super PACS, and the name recognition of being a former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State behind her.

Next up for her is a reality tv star/real estate con man who commits what would be political suicide for most traditional politicians every other day but has made him more popular to his base.

We don't have winner take all States. The proportional allocation system (and the presence superdelegates) has allowed Bernie to stay in the race and claim that it's "close" when the reality is he hasn't had a realistic chance of winning for 2 months.

If our system was more like what the GOP had, Bernie would have been out.

She's as weak as they come for someone with all that help. If Bernie had all that, it would have been over long ago.

Bernie went from being down by 50 points to being down by 2.

She may have won but she is still universally disliked by most voters. Nothing she can do will change that.

She beat Rick Lazio after the latter entered the race late due to Giuliani backing out.

That's the toughest political opponent she has ever defeated in an election. This is only her 3rd political campaign as a candidate.

and they had nominated either Kasich or Huntsman to be on the ballot this fall...

I doubt that we would have a snowballs chance in hell of winning with Hillary... and it would be very tight even with Bernie.

I think our only hope against a Kasich nominee would be either Warren or Biden...
