And I hope anyone who is freaking out, will focus on this guy -

Scott Elliott

Elliott (who goes by the nickname "The Blogging Caesar&quot runs the Republican-leaning ElectionProjection.com, a site featuring his electoral vote formula and his own edition of "unskewing" the polls. He is a conservative political junkie who views "Jesus [as] my life and my purpose."

ElectionProjection.comElectionProjection.com

Track record: His track record and methods have been pretty solid—even winning him an endorsement across the aisle from Prof. Tanenbaum at Electoral-Vote.com: For instance, in 2008, his formula projected an easy Obama win, but was off by two states (Indiana and North Carolina). In 2004, his model predicted Bush netting 289 electoral votes (he ended up with 286).

Current prediction: His math shows a substantial lead for Obama, clocking in at 290 electoral votes, but with 48.9 percent of the popular vote versus Romney's 49.6 percent.

concedes, I'll be worried.

Wonder if the carpet bombing of horrid Thuglican ads on TV, web, and radio will sway any low info voters over the next few days?

I got a call from the Obama campaign yesterday. I've been donating and I've made calls for them. They know they can count on me. My butt will be in their headquarters this Saturday and Sunday, as well as Monday night, making calls and GOTV! None of us can breathe a sigh of relief until after November 6th, but we absolutely should exude confidence for our President.

HE IS GOING TO WIN!

GOP win on the ground next week.

The coverage has been so unabashedly biased towards Romney that I'm hoping a great many people wake up to who owns the media and what they've been selling for years.

I remain cautiously optimistic that despite the inevitable legal challenges the GOP will push November 7th, their case will fail in the court of public opinion due to facts like this being presented.

I really appreciate all of this.

I really appreciated the article and was thinking that the work of those seven could serve as a deterrent to election fraud.

RCP is a conservative-oriented site that, like the sources discussed in the article, does poll aggregation on a state-by-state basis to predict the electoral vote. As of today, they're showing Obama winning with 290 electoral votes when all states, even the very close ones, are allocated to one candidate or the other.

I live in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. It's one of the most heavily-Republican counties in the country.

People around here are CERTAIN that Romney is going to win. They're planning victory parties.

Now when I say, "none of this matters" I mean that none of this matter to them. They're completely deluded. Kook-Aid in the handy 3-Liter economy size.

They think they're winning.

Some of these people are highly educated professionals, and they think Romney is burying Obama. Utterly delusional.

I was without power for about 24 hours with nothing but a battery powered radio. The shit misinformation pushed on the average person by the right is amazing.

They have been told for years the media is lying to them, hence they have no interest in the actual politics that should tell them otherwise that Rmoney is in trouble.
