Sanders camp: Bernie will work 24/7 to ensure Trump not president

So no, Bernie is not Nader and you have to be an idiot if you don't think camp Hillary doesn't need him.

Bernie Sanders will work around the clock to make sure Donald Trump is not elected president, regardless of whether the Vermont senator wins the Democratic presidential nomination, his campaign manager said Tuesday.

“Well, he certainly has said that he will do everything — he will work seven days a week, night and day, to make sure Donald Trump is not president, and I'm confident that he will do that,” Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver told CNN. “Bernie Sanders, as you know, is a very effective campaigner on the stump.”

Weaver said Sanders has rallied millions of people, including young voters, independents and working-class people. “And I think he'll take the message to them that Donald Trump would be a disaster for working-class and middle-class families in this country,” Weaver continued. “Putting the Republicans back in control of Washington is not a good strategy.”

but, Bernie supporters will need Hillary if she is the nominee. Or would they prefer a republican government?

A weak candidate with 3+ million more primary votes than Sanders. Bernie understands what is at stake in November, and will be there to help make sure the Democratic candidate wins.

He will do that, despite the objections that will come from his "supporters," many of whom wouldn't have voted for him in November in the first place.

I hope you'll help Bernie with this support for the Democratic candidate, too. Truly.

They'd act like they realize that they need Bernie and his supporters. Try it.

12. Most Bernie supporters will vote for Hillary in November.

They're Democrats. A few Sanders supporters won't. Many of those probably had no intention of voting for Bernie in November, either, from what I can see.

As I said, I hope you'll vote for the Democratic nominee, too.

13. I hope so, but I have no idea. In any case you can't seem to grasp that

only 29% of the electorate is made up of dems.

15. Oh, I can grasp that just fine.

That's a number. That won't change, regardless of who the nominee is. It's really a matter of who the non-29% are and what will motivate them in a Clinton-Trump race. Because that's what it comes down to, in the end.

Sanders isn't really a factor any longer. He will not be the nominee. Trump is the nominee for the GOP.

What percentage will absolutely not vote for Hillary Clinton in a race against Trump? I don't know that number. Neither do you. We won't find out how the voting breaks down until November.

Unlike many people, I am not trying to figure out exactly who will vote for whom. DU is useless in trying to figure that out, anyhow. Polling can be useful, but it's still too early to start analyzing that for the general election.

You're trying to tell me what I can grasp and cannot. You do not know me at all. You have no idea what I can grasp or not. Please don't think you do.

I've moved on from the primaries to the general election already, in my thinking and observation. I did that on March 15.

Here's the only thing that's important to me: We must prevent the Republicans from controlling all three branches of government. Nothing else matters in the 2016 presidential election. If you think something else matters, then we have nothing to say to each other.

Bernie Sanders knows that, too. He will do what is best for the country and work to elect a Democrat. That's all I need to know. What you will do is your decision, but what you do won't really affect anything much. What Bernie does will. So, I say thanks to Bernie.

4. I never doubted the Sanders I have long admired and supported would do this.

Those who think the vulgar and violent ones claiming to be Sanders supporters are actually Sanders supporters are not familiar with the decades of GOP operatives infiltrating Dem campaigns specifically to foment a bad image.

None of my Sanders supporters in NC act in such an overthetop way. I would even bet that some of these GOP operatives posing as Sanders voters start burning flags as the earlier operatives did for GHWBush campaign in 1988.

His message has been clear throughout his campaign. But to go around basically saying that Hillary is the more desirable of two corporate stooges is not a message she needs or desires. And without even using those words, that will be the message he'll be sending.

No Thanks!

And doing nothing to change bullying behavior of his supporters.

So he may do some marginal stuff… his behavior now (and during the whole campaign) just shows how unfit for leadership he is.

So unfit that your guy couldn't break 1% while he soared to almost 50% nationally.
