LAS VEGAS (AP) - As Oregon and Kentucky queue up to vote in the Democratic presidential nominating contest, the pall of a divisive state party convention in Nevada hangs over the race.
"It was beyond the pale," said Democratic state Sen. Pat Spearman, a Clinton supporter who said she saw an elderly woman hit with a bottle amid the ruckus. "There's no reason to do that. That's the kind of shenanigans that they do on the other side."
The Nevada dissension does not change the likely outcome of the Democratic nominating contest, in which Clinton holds a commanding lead in pledged delegates and is expected to lock up enough to clinch the party's presidential nomination following primaries on June 7.

I would have to think long and hard before participating in future events ... but, then, that might be the plan.

(110,159 posts)stepping in this campaign has run it like Republicans, not Democrats, and he has clearly let us see and value just who we are as a party.

(11,197 posts)since 1976, and if this election cycle has shown me anything, it's that when it comes to the primary process Democrats are no less corrupt than their GOP counterparts. They're both fighting for the same team, and it ain't "the people".

He cannot conduct himself like the Democratic party he walked into, then he can't be a part. That includes his supporters. Or convention is ours to celebrate our nominee. Not to be held hostage to tantrums and worse.
He is going to conduct a campaign that is along lines of Trump, he can run as a Republican, since in his words, we are the same as the other.
