But too late to really register in public polling before election day.

It will, however, register at the polls on election day.

yesterday with the live network break in of the joint press conference and tour was the bounce moment. It usually is the next day or two after you see the movement.

What "reddish" or tossup states were affected by Sandy & got major help from FEMA?

Those are the places where the point or 2 (or maybe more) would really help. 2 more points in NY or VT are--uh--kinda pointless when it comes to the Electoral College.

The debacle of Bush's handling of Katrina is what finally opened people's eyes about him.

Let's face it, in a disaster of that magnitude, everybody with a heart recognizes that people need help and they recognize competence (and incompetence) when they see it.

Obama's handling of this disaster will cause some people who are still on the fence to vote for him. They know it would be "every man for himself" in such situations if Romney were in office.

I'm from there. Infrastructure is important in that state.
