Have a great day DU. You are truly charming.

We have serious issues if you haven't noticed. Our family having worked voluntarily with the dispossessed since the financialization of the economy by design, we have seen the devastation. We need a more humane path. The leveling out of tax rates for the rich and corporations, household debt instead of wage increases, budget hawking, replacing human rights in lieu of corporate rights, endless war for multinational markets, and devastation of the world's environment to get a leg up on rival countries has not served us well. Bipartisanship with a party that does not work on bipartisanship, but their way has only yielded to their way. Incrementalism has been a fraud when it only goes one way, so it has to be designed that way through practical deduction. Yes, the party isn't as bad as they are. But what a low bar for a country in decline. A government indifferent to its people and their welfare is a government indifferent to mankind. If competition is all you want, then play a game of racketball. If money is all you desire, choose something else than public service. But don't lecture us about what can be done when we have seen better and lived better. Hope your evening is peaceful and you have no worries. Peace.

Indeed that's the case. I could go on & on about this subject but, in a nutshell, employers valued their workforce & made the effort to provide what employees needed because they knew when employee satisfaction is high, productivity goes up.

That's the kind of work environment I want for the younger & future generations.

You cant find a woman, lgbt, or person of color who would rather live in any other period in US history.

I've had plenty of issues with Sanders supporters, and yes a few do match your description. Just like a few Clinton supporters support civil rights but dislike the poor and don't suuport unions, progressive taxation, or social programs.

I think it's mostly an issue of emphasis. Most Sanders supporters I know are good on cvil rights issues but tend to focus on class issues and economic justice. Whereas most Clinton supporters I know support economic justice but their passion and focus on civil rights. Both groups are essential to our party.

Please, we should avoid broad brushing.

only applied to white males in this country...ever!

The tea party movement and a large part of Bernie's appeal as well is the longing for the privilege that white males used to have in this country.

They were the absolute masters of society and it was ugly mean and racist.

I'm an advocate for people in poverty. It may not be a new thing, but it should not be something we are striving for.

and it is a silly notion to suggest that civil rights would somehow go away if we returned to economic policy that benefits the 99%.

15. Thank you, Clinton supporters acting like economic justice can't coexist with social equality....

really just a way of diverting attention away from the destruction of the middle class in America. I am glad that LGBT Americans and POC (yes, like me) have better access to jobs, schools, housing, and opportunities than previous generations did. I just wish there were more opportunities for EVERYONE, NOT JUST THE 1%.

I am sick and tired of people on the right wing of the Democratic Party accusing progressives (focused on economic justice) of only representing white males... That is complete bullshit.
