It makes all you people look very bad to behave so brutally. Please cut it out immediately!
Thank you.

(5,815 posts)Vs smacking a woman in the head.
Yes, those are equivalent.
Suddenly everyone's real sketchy about whether or not smacking a woman is a really bad thing.
But now, apparently it's the same thing as tossing a plastic bottle and chalk slogans.
Domestic abusers take note, I guess.

They are lucky no one got hurt from it
and just because I point this out doesn't mean I think it's OK to hit a Sanders supporter.
No one knows exactly how far Bernie's supporters will go though. There's already been one who threatened to cut out a superdelegates tongue.
Prism
(5,815 posts)You wonder, "How far will they go?!"
Uhm. Yeah, yeah, look over here. Here's how far a Clinton supporter did go.
Don't get so wrapped up in theoreticals when you have actual instances before you.

Hillary supporters have a history of being bullies.
NuclearDem
(16,184 posts)Stalking and threatening superdelegates, vile racist slurs being thrown at African Americans, provoking violent confrontations with other campaigns' supporters and threatening riots have been your campaign's tactics since day one--yes, the very day Sanders announced Sanders supporters were already acting like this.
So boo hoo. Your grave concern for sexist slurs didn't apply to Barbara Boxer ("Shut up, bitch" this weekend), the numerous female superdelegates and surrogates called "whores", and every slur under the sun levied at Hillary. If you don't like people acting this way, you shouldn't have done it in the first place.

I can say this, because people who keep telling me they're feminists have co-signed the sentiment.
If only she had learned to be quiet and not have opinions the assailant might have been tired of hearing.

Note: making blanket assertions of a candidate's supporters based on the actions of *one* of them is pretty silly. One might say that it makes no sense.

(55,981 posts)Clinton has chosen to side with the Wealthy Oligarchy that will not lose no matter what the cost. I am not surprised at the dirty tricks by the DNC and the Corp-Media with many election irregularities thrown in. Look who you chose to "lie down with", you will get fleas for sure.

(55,981 posts)I think a lot of Clinton supporters agree and that's why they are so arrogant.
While they fight for bigger profits for Goldman-Sachs and a bigger bank account balance for the Clinton family, there are those that are fighting to help those among us that are suffering. Clinton and Goldman-Sachs are capitalists and their number one goal is to amass more and more wealth. I dont think that's funny.

(856 posts)So funny--remember "Pride Goeth Before A Fall." Suggest you read about a former Nevada Democratic Congressman a Hillary supporter who was so disgusted at the Clinton Camp antics at Nevada Convention that he tore up his ballot & walked out. http://www.democraticunderground.com/12511975215

(5,815 posts)It's a question that needs discussion, I think. Clearly, Clinton needs to rein her supporters in.

(5,815 posts)If Sanders has to explain and apologize for every fart that ever traveled over twitter, I think the least Clinton can do is pipe up about assaulting women in the face.
Don't you agree?
I mean, she is all about women's issues. I'd think assaulting women would kind of be in her wheelhouse.

Funny how MSNBC ran this on their crawl, but never mentioned that Pierce had assaulted a woman AND a Sanders supporter.
Seems they are auditioning to be the house organ of a Clinton presidency.

(5,811 posts)Wendell Pierce has NEVER EVER been accused of being hot tempered, easily provoked. Never. So I don't believe her. Wendell has a witness and there's probably video because most hotels have cameras to monitor the hallways.
Starry Messenger
(32,342 posts)Pierce's side of the story is he followed the Bernie fan and her friends to their room as they argued about Clinton and Sanders -- but stayed outside the room. He claims they tried to pull him into the room ... as he tried to run away.
Hopefully he'll get to tell his side of what happened soon.
