(13,877 posts)I'd still like to see the transcripts, too, and now that everyone else has published theirs...oh wait, there weren't any...cough 'em up. Another ethical lapse among many, many.
Not that we don't know for pretty certain the tone of the speech...and Cut It Out isn't it. I think the rumor circuit from those in attendance mentioned something like "acting like one of the Board members of Goldman Sachs". They don't pay 6 figures to get a lecture. If they wanted that, I'm sure Elizabeth Warren was available. It's just the secrecy.
Oh, I think it's stupid for any candidate to have to bring out their taxes. If they were playing fast and loose, it wouldn't show anyway.

(9,957 posts)...and he probably doesn't need to release them. Something in there will "embarrass" him - go against his image. Everyone has figured this out, easily. Hillary isn't demanding this in her speeches; she's asking Trump to release his tax forms, instead. She'll win the nomination and have a better ally in Bernie if this passes without mucking up his reputation.
