Democratic Party officials took dictatorial control over the Nevada convention

Changing the rules to push through their preferred result. They might have won that result anyway, but that's not the point. The point is they were not willing to take that chance and were not willing to let the Bernie faction use the rules of the convention to advance their agenda inside the Party.

The big message from the Democratic Party to Bernie voters is loud and clear: GTFO, see ya losers. You can vote for what we select, but don't even think about trying to participate in the internal governing mechanisms of the Party. If you try to play by the rules, we'll simply suspend the rules. Don't even think about trying to use the Democratic Party as a vehicle for your little "movement". The state conventions are no longer going to be sites of actual democratic participation. The Party will no longer pretend to be governed by any kind of internal democracy from below. The state conventions are becoming just theater, just one more scripted infomercial where delegates might be allowed to rubber stamp the decisions of the executive committees and party leaders. The message is clear. If you're looking for a way to advance your grassroots movement, don't look inside the Democratic Party because that path is blocked.

The only cheaters are the Hillary Campaign that bought 33 states. Where is the video of bottles & chairs being thrown?/ Only one arrest happened --it was a Hillary supporter who assaulted a couple who supported Bernie: http://www.tmz.com/2016/05/15/the-wire-arrested-wendell-pierce-hilary-clinton-bernie-sanders/

miles away. There are rules and you need to follow them other wise the standing committees steam roller you ever step of the way. Could see this coming after the County Convention, missed the 8:30 rules committee by ten minutes do to parking issues. Thought I could make a difference, forget it,once they closed the registration I knew there would be problems at the State Convention. This was Harry's last power play and it was pretty obvious. Hey,the Guy does not want Nevada to be a Rethug State, and he is just covering his bases.

Been there and done that a few times with County and State Conventions, got to hand it to Bernies Supporters for trying,it is all about alliances and give and take. Two years down the road let's see who really are standing tall and making a difference. It will be the Bernie People who will win the day.

in keeping with the sure bet thing. Old Harry's ego has taken a bit of a hit these last two years and the stops are pulled to flip Nevada Democrat and in a big way. Every Democrat running for office here is sitting with a ton of cash thanks to Harry. This is his Legacy Tour and his detractors are going to pay big time for their hate filled messages.

running again. But as long as he is putting HIS candidates in the congress we will still be sending corporatists. It is going to take us a long time to make this change we are hoping for. There are so many like him in congress right now. I so kind of appreciate his wanting to turn NV blue. I have wanted that for years. NV and every other red state.

appear to be aides or one time interns of his,and in saying that, they might well be consevadems. In a couple of the Congressional Races,we have a couple of people that are the real deal, and are not Harry bots. Will have a better idea after the June Primary's.

What Sanders tried to do at the convention was game the system to get him more delegates, but that attempt failed, so they stated acting out.

Party bigwigs are making it clear that party conventions are not going to be a site of debate, or for elected delegates to set the party rules and bylaws. They are making sure grassroots movements will not be allowed to to use rules and democracy to influence the direction of the party. They don't want to let a grassroots movement get a foothold in the party committees because it could threaten their control. They don't want to set a precedent where the conventions become real places of political debate. They want bigwigs to set the rules, and the delegates to rubber stamp it and put on a fake show of democracy.
