From the Atlantic Wire - an article from August:

Prewitt, herself a rape survivor who gave birth to a daughter as a result of her attack, explains that 31 states have no laws that bar rapists from seeking custody or visitation rights. For Prewitt that astounding fact is personal. Her rapist attempted to get custody of her daughter, "but thankfully I got lucky and his visitation rights were terminated," she said, according to a profile of her by The Am Law Daily's Brain Baxter. She added: "I'm not sure I would have made the decision I did had I known I might be tethered to my rapist for the rest of my life."

Myself, I think a permanent restraining order from seeing either the mother or the child, along with mandatory child support would be more fitting. The rapist is a family member? Well too bad. He's gonna be missing at family gatherings.

I used to be a rw bigot fascist skeeve & that group response to any other group or person who crossed you was easy, Fucking Kill them.

Now the only group that I hate is 1% rich bastards & any group that forments racism & violence against "THEM!" (no not the giant ants).

I got out of this crap 25+ years ago but I still must think like them about dealing with conflict, but obviously I am a good boy or else I would be in jail or dead.

Check out castration techniques in Thailand, I was looking for the one where a battered wife cuts if off, attaches it to a balloon & by by ballsack.... I could not find that specific one but Thai women are not taking a load of shit w/o fighting back.

WTF!?

I'm a guy (meaning I have no personal experience to reference regarding getting pregnant by rape) and I can't even wrap my mind around this.

I hope more women get elected to the legislative branch of government. We really need to change a lot of our laws.
