Rush Limbaugh:

Obama is "incompetent, incapable of [making] decisions";
Liberals vote for him only because "they feel sorry for him"

Rush Limbaugh has bizarre ideas about race, and racism. For example, he has claimed that "when a Democrat describes a black guy as a step and fetch it, that's not racism, because Democrats can't be racist." This is likely an example of rush "illustrating the absurd with absurdity."

Limbaugh asserts this while making the argument that others are as prejudiced as he is — specifically, that Bill Clinton thinks Obama is useful only for "fetching my coffee, carrying my bags."

No great work, no level of demonstrated competence, and no testimonial of Obama's cooperation and good faith is convincing to Rush. It doesn't matter what is currently depicted on every cable news station; to Limbaugh, Obama can do no right.

None of this is new. Limbaugh has always described President Obama in the most objectionable language he can muster. For example, Limbaugh has said that Obama is prejudiced, inauthentic, a black flag waving radical extremist, an empty canvas, very scary, race-baiting and fearmongering, and worthy of ridicule. Limbaugh has characterized Obama speeches as "shuckin' and jivin'" while accusing him of being "too black". Limbaugh has also droned incessantly about Obama not being black enough.

Limbaugh has riffed obnoxiously on the theme of Obama's incompetence:

Obama ... has been shielded from any kind of opposition his whole life. He's been protected. If he got a C at Harvard, somebody gave him an A. If he needed to get into Harvard Law, somebody greased the skids.

As Obama has received favorable coverage on cable news channels related to the devastation wreaked by Hurricane Sandy, Rush Limbaugh has stepped up the abuse. Here are excerpts from his extended anti-Obama tirade on Halloween Day
