GWU Battleground Poll shows Trump leading Clinton 42%-37% Among Independent Voters

GWU Battleground Poll shows Trump leading Clinton 42%-37% Among Independent Voters
May 5, 2016

Independent voters will decide the November general election. A recent GSPM GWU Battleground Poll shows Donald Trump leading Hillary Clinton by a 42%-37% margin among these voters.

It will be difficult to make these candidates more unpopular than they currently are -- Donald Trump has 52% "Strongly Unfavorable" ratings and Hillary Clinton is at 46%.

Considering these already high unfavorable ratings, each candidate is likely immune to negative ads. However, negative ads about the other may help each candidate turn out his or her base voter in November.

The national survey of 1,000 likely voters was taken April 17-20. Among all voters Clinton leads Trump by 46%-43%.

Both are largely racist. There are some former Democrats and those closer to Democratic ideals, but they are not majority.

I know Berners don't want to hear it but Willard beat Obama by 5 among Indies and still got smoked by 126 EC votes.

And again, I know Berners don't want to hear it, but Drumpf has some headwinds working against him with minority and women voters.

I know in the Berner world Hillary has no chance but reality is that is not the case.

Frankly no one I know predicted Trump with the exception of Representative Keith Ellison. Of course he is a supporter of Bernie Sanders so that must be why he could make a prediction. I am sure Keith Ellison secretly loves Trump. In Hillary world everything is a right wing conspiracy, there is no history, it is easy to walk back when you miss speak.Go ahead and approach Bush supporters there will be no transcripts of these talks.

Obama was in trouble in 2012. His Secretary of State was working backroom deals in Libya hiring one consultant through the Clinton foundation the President of the United States banned by name, while the Director of the CIA was giving top secret information to his mistress probably a Republican operative. Romney lost due in a large part to a video insulting the 47% of the electorate. The Benghazi ruse was a diversion to make money in the legislature. We are all being played and no Hillary Clinton will not be charged with anything. Expect more surprises.

All opposition to any Clinton is because of Bernie Sanders. We have always been at war with Eurasia.

Is that enough?
"In a head-to-head matchup of each party’s frontrunner, Mrs. Clinton leads Mr. Trump by only 3 percentage points nationally (46 to 43; 11 percent undecided). Comparatively, Mr. Sanders fares slightly better against Mr. Trump (51/40/10)."

“The Republican Party has a strongly favorable political environment for winning the White House,” said pollster Ed Goeas, president and CEO of The Tarrance Group. “If a mainstream Republican candidate were the presumptive nominee, the GOP would likely be in a strong position for a lot of wins, top to bottom, in November. “

And all these polls discount the or under sample the POC votes nationwide. That's how Romney thought he was winning right up to the election and Obama trounced him. The time the POC vote is split but not dangerously so for Hillary. AT least 50% of the will come home in November but the Bernie-bots will either stay home or vote for Trump. Hillary can still win without them because there are enough true Democrats among them who will come back in November also.
