The Matt Drudge/F-cker Carlson scandal 'reveal' is about Sen. Menendez

I'm not linking to that rightwing site, but here's the gist, so you know what they're all pushing tomorrow - sounds like what most here predicted it would be:

"Women: Sen. Bob Menendez paid us for sex in the Dominican Republic -- and we only got 20% of what he promised"

Two women from the Dominican Republic told The Daily Caller that Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez paid them for sex earlier this year.

In interviews, the two women said they met Menendez around Easter at Casa de Campo, an expensive 7,000 acre resort in the Dominican Republic. They claimed Menendez agreed to pay them $500 for sex acts, but in the end they each received only $100.

The women spoke through a translator in the company of their attorney, Melanio Figueroa. Both asked that their identities remain obscured for fear of reprisals in the Dominican Republic.

When shown a photograph of Sen. Menendez, the women said they recognized him as the man with whom they’d had sexual relations at Casa de Campo this spring. Both said they were brought to the resort with the understanding they would be paid for sex.

Menendez is denying.
As of now, it appears Carlson and his site have a video interview of prostitutes, but nothing else in the way of evidence.
However this plays out, I doubt New Jersey gives a damn right now.

and grounds for a standing ovation from the GOP when you return to the Senate.

I wonder what Rush will have to say - he seems to have some experience with going to the Dominican Republic with an all-male group and supply of Viagra.

Even if this did happen, why should it cause people not to vote for Obama? He had nothing to do with this.

Unless they have physical evidence or video of the actual fucking they got nothing.

Except for this: accusing a senator of fucking prostitutes during a crisis is not likely to play well.

Plus he probably only let them get to first base on him so they didn't earn the rest.

Forgive me if I am just a tad skeptical. No paper trail showing Menendez met with these women?
Sounds like a setup to me.
