I am confused by this story

HEADLINE: "Obama Up in Virginia, Florida, and Ohio". But story says in another paragraph he is tied. Sounds contradictory to me. WTF?

and therefore effectively tied. Nate Silver has Obama slightly favored in VA and Romney favored by the same 60-40 probability in Florida.
