It sounds like to me they have chosen not to endorse because a) they are trying not to piss people off because they are hurting with the decrease in newspaper subscriptions already and b) they know Obama will win Oregon.

4. I work for one of the papers listed for Romney

I don't cover politics very often, but let me reassure DUers that who owns the paper determines who gets the endorsement.

We call them FOD's which stands for Front Office Deal.

In my case it's a billionaire who lives in a swing state with some mountains.

These papers are all in lock-step republican control. Pretty sickening.
