WOW! Romney donation event was staged.

I'm stunned!

" As the East Coast and parts of Ohio struggled to regroup in the devastating wake of “Superstorm” Sandy, the Romney campaign hastily transformed a scheduled victory rally in Dayton, Ohio into a non-political “storm relief event” on Tuesday.

The event ended with supporters lined up to hand over supplies and meet Romney. But according to BuzzFeed, this donation process was also staged:

Empty-handed supporters pled for entrance, with one woman asking, “What if we dropped off our donations up front?”

The volunteer gestured toward a pile of groceries conveniently stacked near the candidate. “Just grab something,” he said.

Two teenage boys retrieved a jar of peanut butter each, and got in line. When it was their turn, they handed their “donations” to Romney. He took them, smiled, and offered an earnest “Thank you.”

I keep thinking Romney cannot possibly do anything lower or more surprising, and yet I am genuinely stunned by this.

He doesn't consider the cost and logistics of moving food donations...he doesn't understand cash is what they need...he is so stupid. Wonder if he wrote a check I bet NOT!

Oops, silly question. Right wingers don't care how bad their candidate is or how many times he lies.

The thought of anti Obama money (citizens united) had me depressed last year. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised that the anti Obama texts, movies, money ... Nothing seems to have worked so far. These guys have pulled no punches and have even used race, yet Obama is on a path to victory next Tuesday.

I voted for a real American hero who thought VietNam was an unethical waste of US soldiers and American prestige. He was a REAL American hero who flew multiple bomber missions over Europe in WW2. He was right then, as Carter was right about energy policy, as Clinton was right about tax and employment policy. Still the Republican morons, who have less than I have, continue to vote against their best interests.....because they think of politics like it is a sporting event. Fox loves stupid people.

they believe the trickle down fantasy the right has been selling them. They believe they will some day be rich even though just a smidgen of common sense would prove that will never happen for the vast, vast majority of them. More importantly, to them the big issues are abortion and guns. Toss in racism and there is no reasoning with them.

I see and hear it every day here in bright red Tennessee.

Yep...morons think in term of sports teams. As a die-hard Red Sox fan, I could never root for success for any Yankee player....no matter how good, ethical, great person he might be. But it's sports....noy life and death. Electing morons like- King (R-Iowa), Buchannan, R-MN), West -FL. and Walsh - R - Ohio = stupid people making laws for us. Stop electing stupid people.

It is there to enslave the masses to make money for the super-rich. Whether it is the overwhelming evidence that Climate Change is a hoax, that healthcare for the poor is an infringement of our rights, banking regulations destroy jobs or lower tax rates for the wealthy makes us all rich, it is all fake. But let us have false outrage at those who want to spread the wealth, for that is evil socialism. Romney is a puppet who looks embarrassed to tell the lies he does. Even the concept of honest elections is fake. We have no idea if the true winner of this election will be president for the next four years. If we let Republicans win, we have all been bought by corporations and our purpose is to serve our masters, while believing we have freedom.

10. My Question

Oct 2012

What is the media's purpose in all this? I used to think the media was where you went to get the truth, they went where no one wanted to go, they risked jail, etc.. Now I think they're fat cats who enjoy their fat contracts, air conditioning and they're useless.
