Related: About this forumQuestion about Election Day/Night
Do DU'ers hang out here on election day/night? If so, will there be a single thread or just do your own thing? And is there a preferred place to watch, MSNBC, CNN or what?

I'd like to watch MSNBC (especially to see Chuckie Toad's sad face). but I'd also like to go over to watch it with my son who doesn't have cable.

If he looks very worried, things are going bad. If he is pensive but not totally unhappy, it is a close race. I think the third option is more likely.
FOX News- Reverse. If they seem to be making excuses and look grim, we are good.
CBS tends to be neutral.

(11,652 posts)Leaving aside the cable networks, if a person wants to watch coverage as straight as possible on election night... where do you look? NBC/Williams? CBS/Pelley? or ABC/Sawyer?
For some reason I think I prefer Diane Sawyer even though I know she came up on Nixon's staff...

There will be so many threads going, you won't be able to keep up.
But DU is THE place to be on election night. Will be my third time this coming Tuesday.
GO OBAMA!
