How do you think Sanders could fit into a Clinton Administration?

Do you think Bernie has a role, or should have a role, and will have a role in the upcoming administration?

If there is some great miraculous change in the cosmos, and superdelegates leave en masse and give him the nod, do you think HRC would, or should, or could have a role in a Sanders administration?

You just wish it to be so. Besides, that is not an example of a con job anyway. We are backing an honest politician, Bernie Sanders, all the way to the end Presidency. Hillary has too many legal problems that should be distracting her right now and should drop out before she has to spend all her time in court.

Bernie has the people foremost, not his foundation, which he does not have.

right wing attacks and his ego driven campaign that is growing every more desperate and ever more nasty.

Bernie would need HRC to actually get things done, and we know that she has once stepped up to the plate and would do her duty to help if Bernie should somehow steal the nom at this late stage when the votes and the pledged delegates are against him. He simply has no clue how to get things done or work with his peers in a functional manner. He also flails around badly on foreign policy, and pretty much everyone would have to pitch in to keep him from making a huge mess. Luckily we have experienced adults in the form of former presidents to keep him from going the Trump route, but thankfully he'll never be in charge.

gracious, humble and compassionate throughout this nightmare-from-Brock-hell Clinton campaign.

Bernie has been accused of being a racist, a sexist, someone who condones the killing of Sandy Hook kindergarteners. Bernie has watched his faithful supporters being mocked and called "Bernie Bros" as a political ploy--just as Hillary coined the "Obama Boys" slur to damage her 2008 opponent.

Bernie has listened to David Brock speak for the Clinton Campaign and say, "Black lives don't matter much to Bernie Sanders"--a sick attack made even before the Iowa caucuses happened and Bernie had a chance to campaign in more diverse states.

Bernie has watched his invitation to the Vatican be attacked, mocked and lied about incessantly--with every lie being debunked by witnesses and Vatican officials who were there.

"Bernie wasn't invited!", "Bernie won't be speaking!", "Bernie will be speaking but only for five minutes before a coffee break!", "There will be no meeting with the Pope!", "The Pope is leaving town to avoid Bernie!" 150 negative threads started on DU alone, spreading these stupid lies.

All debunked--with nothing more than reality playing itself out. So many awful, horrible situations like this!

I would say that Bernie has behaved in a Ghandi-like fashion as he's been dealing with such vile, mean, inhumane behavior.

"I'm sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails." --A kindness from a man who refused to politicize a legitimate FBI scandal--while the Clinton camp pulls the deprived, lying schemes that she has for months!!

Bernie Sanders may not be Ghandi--but he sure as hell has been grace under fire; and he sure has hell has tried to run an issue-oriented campaign because he ultimately cares about people, their problems and this country.

Sanders leaves door open to being Clinton's VP

Sanders said Friday he plans to keep fighting for the Democratic nomination all the way to the convention in Philadelphia, but did not slam the door shut on possibly joining Hillary Clinton's ticket.

Asked by CNN's Wolf Blitzer if he would accept a hypothetical offer to be Clinton's running mate, Sanders said he would talk about it with her after the convention.
This from CNN, several other news interviews have similar comments.

I can see him dropping the "D" and becoming an "I" again (as a symbolic protest gesture) and based on his behavior during this campaign, he'll be less likely to receive any plum appointments to any of the prestigious committees. It's clear to me, that based on the fact he managed to receive only ONE endorsement from ALL of his colleagues in the Senate, that he's probably not held in very high regard. (And even that single endorsement was a late-comer and from someone who didn't want to piss off the Bernie voters in Oregon.) Whatever professional goodwill there may have been among his colleagues, it's probably evaporated by now.

That's my guess to what role he'll play in government after the convention.

Hillary Clinton will not name him for any position, I'm quite sure. He really doesn't have any qualifications for any cabinet position, and she's not going to suggest him for VP. Instead, she's going to go with a popular younger Democrat rising-star. She'd be foolish not to. It's likely to be someone on the progressive side, too - someone Bernie supporters will have a hard time disliking.
