Rather Than Campaign As Liberal Alternative To Trump, Clinton To Run As Smarter Republican

So predictable....

https://shadowproof.com/2016/05/06/rather-campaign-liberal-alternative-trump-clinton-run-smarter-republican/

Democratic voters in states and territories, which have yet to vote, may look at the direction the Clinton campaign is heading and bail on her campaign. They may decide they do not want to perpetuate a status quo driven by destructive corporate politics. They may help Sanders achieve landslide victories in the remaining primaries and caucuses. They may give his campaign momentum that could boost his candidacy in a showdown against the Democratic Party establishment at the convention in July.

There is reason enough to be concerned about the Clinton campaign’s plans to tack right before outright winning the nomination. But there is even more to be concerned about whether the 2016 general election is between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, and Clinton attempts to win by claiming she’s a smarter warrior-in-chief, who can be trusted to make better corporate-driven trade deals than the billionaire blowhard, who just so happens to have written a book on the art of deal making.

Because I guarantee you a HRC loss will convince the fence sitters that the 3rd way is a dead end.

If Democrats don't embrace liberalism, who will? We really don't need 2 conservative major parties...

Like this go-round.... Hillary sells out toWall Street and if she loses the election because progressives refused to support Goldman Sachs it's OUR FAULT? Um, did I miss the part where some progressive FORCED her to take all of that dirty Wall St money? smdh....

In a way they are more disgusting than the candidate. She has been obsessed with becoming president her entire adult life. She honestly can't help herself. OTOH the democratic rank and file had an honest, electable, liberal alternative this year and chose the neocon. If she gets elected, you will not believe the carnage that she and Paul Ryan will inflict on 99% of us.

7. Hillary's strategy will be a zero-sum gain

Wow, who is advising Clinton? This is a risky, doomed-to-fail strategy.

Clinton can position herself as a Republican all she wants. The Republicans will never buy it. Has Hillary listened to Fox News or turned on Limbaugh or Hannity in the past five years? No one is more loathed in Republican circles than HRC.

I tell you who would believe that she is Republican-like--half of the Democratic party! We've been telling her supporters this since she ran in 2008!

Indies are another story. The majority of Indies are extreme partisans who feel disaffected and screwed over by the political system. Independents are not "middle of the road." Most are very liberal or very conservative. This is why Hillary has polled so abysmally with Indies. Not many fans of HRC in the Indy camp.

Hillary is now having to reinvent herself as a Republican--because she lied, cheated and treated so terribly the Sanders supporters. Her narcisstic destructive train wreck of a campaign blew up our party and she know half of us won't vote for her.

This "I'm a Republican now" schtick is desperate and sad.

Sanders supporters have been begging Clinton supporters to accept that she has no pathway to the nomination. Other than half of the Democratic Party, she's got nothing. We've been warning about this for months!

by the Republicans. But what that misses is that the white hot hate for Hillary will far outweigh any Sanders baggage. That's why he consistently polls a double digit winner against Trump.

Also, I think this foray into Republican land is a hare-brained mess.

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/07/us/politics/hillary-clinton-republican-party.html

Here's another. Since she was unable to hitch Bernie's group to her wagon, well, that only leaves one other source of votes...to be The Winner.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/07/hillary-clinton-to-form-republicans-for-hillary-group-to-exploit/

Clinton supporters should look very carefully at this information. She is signalling early her "judgement and wisdom". The Independents certainly will...and they make or break almost every election. Good Dems about 1/3, good GOP about 1/3, and the fence sitters/Independents 1/3.

She may get some leaders on her side, but after her years blaming The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, wouldn't count on much grass roots support.

The Independents, OTOH, are leaning Liberal.
