Hillary Upsets Bernie in Guam!

Hillary Clinton Declared Winner of Guam Democratic Caucuses

The Guam Democratic Party has declared Hillary Clinton the winner of the party's presidential caucuses in the U.S. territory.

Counting superdelegates, Clinton has amassed just over 93 percent of the necessary total to clinch the Democratic nomination, according to ABC News projections. To get to the magic number of 2,383, the former secretary of state needs to win 16 percent of all remaining delegates and 73 percent of pledged delegates.

Meanwhile, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders needs to win 97 percent of all remaining delegates. He cannot reach 2,383 on pledged delegates alone; to win the Democratic nomination, he would need the support of the superdelegates.

the POC vote which is true to form.

No need to go there with POCs being aligned with the MIC.

He did really well in Hawaii and it was hoped that it would carry through here.

He overperforms in caucuses compared to primaries.

Most had expected that he would win Guam, so it's a surprise.

Any campaign that LOSES doesn't deserve anything. They'll take what they're offered, or they can have nothing at all. Hillary may yet extend an olive branch to Bernie, but he's really in no position to be making demands. The time for being humble is upon him. Let's see if he can set his ego aside and rise to the challenge.

The same challenge is also one that's appropriate for many of his most vocal (and most offensive) supporters and surrogates as well. It will be interesting to see which ones have the courage and decency to admit their mistakes, take responsibility for their hurtful words, and to apologize for them.

When a candidate and their campaign has so OBVIOUSLY lost the primary, but thinks it's acceptable to accuse the presumptive nominee of criminal "money laundering" ... they deserve absolutely nothing.

When a candidate comes into someone's home and starts smearing dog shit all over the carpet and walls, with their personal attacks on the candidate and the counter-productive and self-destructive tactics of calling their newly-adopted party corrupt... then that campaign really shouldn't be surprised to find that nobody is really interested in keeping them around.

Based on how things are going for Bernie, it's clear that his campaign staff and advisors have exceeded their "level of competence".

And Bernie supporters are not the only ones smearing dog shit.

Your post is an example of canine feces being smeared with a broad brush on a large segment of voters -- including many loyal long term Democrats-- from the otehr side.

and accomodate 40 percent of the party (and independents) who voted for a democratic candidate in the primary, how do you expect to negotiate or compromise constructively with the GOP to break the gridlock and get anything done -- except things Clinto n and the GOP agree on?

As for Sanders willingness to compromise and get things done...

Yeah right! Like she's really going to be motivated to concede anything to the campaign that's accused her of illegal money laundering and being unfit-to-serve. You guys have always been your own worst enemies, ya know that, right?

I think it's charming how Bernie's mayoral experience and his dealings with city-council and town-hall are being put forth as examples of how he'd deal with the dysfunctional US Congress. It's cute, but it's not the same.

None of this matters any more. Bernie's not going to be the nominee. Period.

He's going back to Vermont. The only unknown is whether or not he'll be content to continue calling himself a Democrat.

I don't ever expect you to stop your devotion to Clinton...and your dislike of Sanders for having the bad taste to challenge her in the primary. Just like I'm never gonna change my mind on Sanders....unless he eats a kitten on stage.

But it would be helpful if you would at least stop engaging in this binary nonsense, and stop distorting all of the dynamics and facts involved.

One fact is that as mayor Sanders walked into a situation that was worse than this one --- and broke through the opposition and gridlock, rallied public support to kick out the GOP and obstructionist legislature, AND made pragmatic decisions, worked out compromises with his opposition and GOT THINGS DONE.

City council and town hall are really no comparison to the House and Senate. Dealing with the local Sheriff or Chief of Police really isn't the same as dealing with Putin.

Bernie's just not ready. He couldn't even name our allies during the debates. I cringed when he stammered and awkwardly brushed-off giving a complete response with a generic label of "those other Moslem countries" (or words to that effect).

But it would be helpful if you would at least stop engaging in this binary nonsense,

I have no desire to help Bernie.

I'm never gonna change my mind on Sanders....unless he eats a kitten on stage.

So you're saying that on-stage puppy-eating is okay? Why do you hate puppies?
