There was a LONG line of voters at the Labor Temple in Eureka. Fired up crowd. It was a stellar day to stand in line to vote for Sanders delegates!

1. Well over 300 people caucused for Bernie in San Luis Obispo, California today

The parking lot was full and the line was very long at Sierra Vista Hospital today in San Luis Obispo, California. Turn out was well 300 people for the caucus meeting for the northern part of Congressional District 24. We skyped with people from the southern part of the district in Santa Barbara to see and hear from potential delegates. Both areas had many more potential delegates than the six we could vote for. Turnout from Bernie supporters far exceeded the organizers expectations. It felt very good to be a California Democrat supporting Bernie today!

I sat next to two sisters in their eighties who are strong Bernie supporters. They generously donate to him every month. They remember very well what it was like living through the Depression and the good FDR accomplished. They really appreciate Bernie's honesty. They hope he can be like a new FDR for our times as president. Me too!

I am way too tired to say that needs to be said about today and what a great day it was- how many people came out to vote in a process none of us have ever been involved in before- I will say more tomorrow but I know you all need to know who 'won'- but honestly- we all won today- Bernie won today, and this world just got a little better today. So amazing and wonderful to see so many folks out voting for delegates today. We had hundreds and hundreds of people come out to support Bernie Sanders and the delegates that will fight for him at the convention.
