This is no more a contested convention than 2008 was. Obama didn't have an outright majority, either

He needed superdelegates. He had the superdelegates locked up before the convention. Hillary conceded because of it.

That's all there is to it.

The situation will be very clear long before we reach the convention. Sanders will be a laughing stock if he tries to slog it out and frankly he should be. He could concede with dignity or scream and whine shamefully. He will scream and whine shamefully.

That's sad for everyone involved and will make it very difficult to put the party back together. Congratulations.

would result in Superdelegates making the difference.

Just like in 2008.

electorate is a serious issue. This is delusional and ignores the fact that Hillary's campaign is reaching out. I as a Hillary supporter am not as magnanimous because the Sanders supporters haven't been honest about this stage of the campaign in trying to delude their own supporters and other people as well. His campaign is over and they refuse to acknowledge it.

Let everybody vote, THEN we'll see where we are. Or don't you want my vote to count?

California voters will not have their votes matter either...and CA has BY FAR the most delegates in all the 50 states....

In the Great Hall of Democracy, there are assembled the Democratic Party's greatest heroes, created from the establishment elite.

Party leaders! Fundraisers! Lobbyists! And...Jimmy Carter!?!?

They are the Super Delegates, 700 electors chosen by party leaders who can vote at the national convention for whichever Democratic candidate they choose, regardless of whom primary and caucus voters actually selected.

Their mission? To fight grassroots candidates that might represent the party's base, to right that which is wrong (according to privileged insiders), and to serve all mankind! Well, no, just Hillary Clinton in the current election season, OK?

Hubert Humphrey on us. And every election we were told to 'Be Patient'. Your candidate can always run again. Trust us. We know which candidate is best. We are smarter than you...ect ad nauseum. So we had real zingers like Dukakis, Mondale, Clinton, Gore and Kerry..and they knew what was best for us. I will be in my mid 70's in eight years (assuming I'm still around) and I don't know if I HAVE another election left in me after this. Bernie Sanders is THE candidate of my lifetime but the DNC, media and the Clinton Machine know 'what is best' for us. I say Bull.

This is FAR from over and I am keeping the Faith. Peace.

It will be no different this time than any other election. 2026 is what is needed. Clinton folks are fooling themselves thinking they don't need the majority to win.

The number he needs to get before the convention to win the supers over. Or 65% of the remaining pledged delegates.
