(6,604 posts)Hillary Clinton actually ate food?
BootinUp
(47,151 posts)bvf
(6,604 posts)pictures of her eating worthy of an OP.
How about that? She consumes food! Alert the media!

(58,724 posts)Something along those lines?

(58,724 posts)It's gotten a little ugly sometimes.
bvf
(6,604 posts)...good times.
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)and often sexist pics of women eating, it's not worth it. Kind of like how I learned not to eat in the streets around my job near Times Square. Too disturbing the ugliness you get exposed to.
bvf
(6,604 posts)that Hillary Clinton ingests food to be an earth-shattering revelation.
"Vote for Hillary! She metabolizes! In the presence of cameras!"
That's about the best anyone here has yet to come up with as a reason to vote for her.
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)was just correcting your post saying she was actually eating- because god forbid....
bvf

(47,209 posts)into the RW smears and know she is the smartest and most qualified, as well as liberal candidate. We did not drink the Hillary hate kool aide.
bvf
(6,604 posts)You didn't disappoint.
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)I am not going to repeat what you have already doubtless heard again and again- only to watch you cut and paste the same answer we have seen since January.
bvf
(6,604 posts)You obviously have nothing.
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)Seriously, I doubt most of you guys have spent five minutes talking to undecided voters in the real world- because you'd then find out how bad you are at it.

(15,445 posts)A level of triviality and pettiness rarely encountered on DU.
Not worth the trouble of a cogent reply. Why do you even bother? Ignore is the best policy.
Meh...
bvf
(6,604 posts)we could go with pointing out that there's no hyphen in non sequitur, or that people inclined to whip out Latin phrases in sad attempts to appear educated often have yet to master their native language.
Ignore away. No problem there, believe me.

(25,111 posts)OK that is a funny pics
bvf
(6,604 posts)not to look as if you're eating a penis.
Is that what she's afraid of?? And you want to see this organism in the White House?
Good god.
Beacool
(30,247 posts)That's it. You obviously are not a serious poster. BTW, she was already in the WH for 8 years.
bvf
(6,604 posts)Laura Bush also spent eight years in the White House.
So did Nancy Reagan.
Seriously? You're going with that?
Beacool
(30,247 posts)Her more than proven qualifications include 8 years as senator of a major state and 4 years as SOS.
Far more qualified than a senator from a tiny, mostly white, NE state.
bvf
(6,604 posts)eight years as First Lady was qualification for anything.
That was you. Now tell me how that same tenure qualifies Laura Bush.
Would Joe McCarthy have been fit for the White House? After all, he spent ten years in the Senate, so I suppose he would have been more qualified than Clinton by your lights.
And take the race-baiting elsewhere. There are some similarly inclined folks around here under indefinite review that you would feel right at home with.
Beacool
(30,247 posts)Therefore, asking whether one would want "this organism" in the WH was a moot point.
bvf
(6,604 posts)She did enough damage in those eight years, in her limited capacity. That was plenty for a lot of people, some of whom are wasting away in prison for the unspeakable crime of smoking pot (and enriching many of her backers in the process).

(41,984 posts)Is she is reaching out and listening to a variety of people, in fairly smaller settings, letting them see her, listen to her, getting to know her-- AND she listening to people, seeing people, getting to know people.
Love the pictures!

(9,967 posts)talking, lecturing at rallies, she mingles with people one-on-one, talking and listening.
I love this about her!

(2,096 posts)You are correct. Whenever Bernie talks, Hillary listens. It's been apparent throughout the campaign that Hillary is a follower and Bernie is a leader. That's why she keeps copying his positions.
NurseJackie
(42,862 posts)So he's leading from behind? You ARE aware that he's not going to be the nominee, right?

(30,247 posts)When she ran for the Senate she went on a "listening tour" of NY. The media and some politicians smirked at her, but it won her the election. What's more interesting is that she actually listens. She takes mental notes and her aides write down specifics. When she entered the Senate she kept a low profile and learned the ropes, ditto when she became SOS. She has the capacity to absorb huge amounts of information. I think that as president she would do the same. Listen, learn, make educated decisions based on what she's learned and work very hard.
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)fired, she worked out and aided an assistance plan. But calling for people to get fired is a great publicity stunt.
Beacool
(30,247 posts)bettyellen
(47,209 posts)is a useful POV since if you are a two issue voter- and you can't achieve results on either of those issues for years..... you need excuses for the lack of support.
bigtree
(85,996 posts)...but, then going on to denigrate those who are prepared to manage the political realities when transforming that agitation to action.
They're mirroring this irresponsible 'revolution' from a career pol who should know better. Shoddy leadership promoting an amazingly shortsighted and implausible plan for legislative success.
I can understand that obtuseness in an activist, but not for someone looking to be actually charged with executing a progressive agenda from the White House.

(68 posts)tell us a lot about interacting with the people.
When you want to talk to someone, it's a monologue. When you want to talk with someone, that's a dialogue - and it shows you care what they think.
