I'd spring $1,000.

I think it would be nice. I'd do $1,000 for Sanders, Bill Clinton, and even Trump.
(Cruz skeeves me out - so any event with him would have to be a comp.)


It would be a once-in-a-lifetime event. I'd be nice, cordial and have a good time with all of them.

that $1,000 to gain the attention of a real or potential government official is out of reach for a huge number of people, and there is something ethically wrong with the idea that "engagement" has a stout price?

Once the timer they'd surely have placed on the table went DING! she'd stand up and start toward the door while being briefed what she needed to do to stave off her latest "misspoke" incident, next "out of context incident" or next denial.
