Newest Indiana poll: Hillary with big lead over Bernie 55-40

The likely Democratic presidential primary voters were more certain of their choice. Less than five percent saying they don’t know who they will support. Clinton, with 55 percent, holds a substantial lead over Sanders, with 40.3, at this point, according to the results. The undecideds stood at 4.8 percent

================

Looks like we are seeing a bandwagon effect. Its over folks.

This same poll has Cruz leading Trump 45-29. That could make things interesting on the GOP side.

We get months of nothing but how awful Trump is and how wonderful Clinton is vs. How wonderful Trump is and how awful Hillary is...... How the Democrats stand for Apple Pie and the GOP is Evil vs. the Democrats as satnic Cult and the Resurgent GOP (or something. They'll have a hard time defending themselves this time.)

Meanwhile all of the those things Sanders has been talking about get swept under the rug and the millions of people he resonated with get marginalized by Clinton, the Democratic Party Establishment....And the MSM can get back to nothing but horse-race and soap opera and pro wrestling.

Issues? Reality? Screw that.

Voters and pledged delegates. Primaries are about those things. They are directly related. Let Indiana vote, and their decision will be known. Would you have it otherwise?

The voters in Indiana will decide for themselves what is important to them. They will decide what issues matter to them. They are as smart as voters anywhere, but the issues they think are important are not necessarily the same ones you do. People figure things out for themselves, and have access to the Internet.

I missed nothing. We just do not agree.

However, let's say he does get 40 percent.

A year ago, few would have thought that a democratic socialist would get 40 percent in a Democratic primary in Indiana. This isn't the last election. In eight years, a candidate with Sanders' agenda may do even better.

and that clearly his supporters represent the future of the party. The next election will likely have a much more progressive candidates.
